My local sports station became a Cubs affiliate earlier this year so I got to listen to every game. I'll really miss him.

One of the best players of his generation who became a cult hero in the booth.

Listening to next year's games won't be the same.

Have fun in heaven where I'm sure the cubs win the world series annually.

I really hope Joe Morgan and all the other cocksuckers on the vets committee are glad they denied an old man of his ultimate dream.

RIP Ronnie.

While I was not a big fan of Santo, he was a Cub in every inch of his being. He will be missed by many.

The Vet's Committee should be ashamed for not placing him in the Hall while he was alive to enjoy it.

Thanks for the memories Ronnie. When the Cubs did good, you multiplied the joy and when they did bad, you lessened the pain. You will be greatly missed. RIP to an all time great Cub.

I'm trying to think about all the good he did for the game, for the Cubs organization and for JDRF.

But I still keep coming back to his HOF snub. And he never got to celebrate a WS.

Like CR said, "Screw you, veteran's committee."
