It's the same old brick wall treatment.

As in, here's a brick wall, knock yourself out pounding your head up against it.

Angelo can't leave soon enough for me. Just, please, get rid of this bozo. Anyone. Help.

How about Gaines Adams, Angelo? What a BSer.

look I completely agree with the Angelo hate in general and because of this statement, but in his defense, I don't think the Bears picked up Adams expecting him to be a big contributor that year. They hoped he could, which is why they made a trade in season for him instead of waiting until the offseason when he might have been cut, but I think they were more or less thinking long term with that trade with Ogunleye becoming a FA after the year.

But then he randomly died so...

That doesn't defend why they gave up a 2nd rounder for him.

* On if Randy Moss, who was claimed by the Tennessee Titans, fits in his offense: "Here's how dumb I am. Honest to goodness, I don't mean this with any disrespect, but I kind of hide in a cave during the season. I don't look at the Internet. I couldn't tell you anything that's written in a newspaper. I didn't even know that happened, until just recently. I can't comment on that. I would never comment on another player that's not on our squad."

Is that Martz? That sounds like a pretty smart way of avoiding having to say that you prefer your guys.

Not actually seeing Martz' make these comments and just reading them, I often get the sense that he's just messing with everyone. There was something sort of insane he said the other week that made me think that too, but I can't remember what it was now. Like he's just screwing with the reporters with some sort of dead-pan humor that none of them notices.

Maybe that's just how I rationalize.

I think that's definitely the case. Although I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't find out about Moss right away.

Thank you. This is exactly what I was trying to say a couple weeks back.

I've seen numerous talking heads predicting a Bills win this week. Nice to see that everyone thinks Chicago is crap

Jamie Dukes on NFL network said the Bears were contenders (instead of pretenders) for a playoff spot, but then picked them to lose this weekend. I think I've seen 2:1 people picking the Bills tomorrow.

I'll join the fray. Mostly it's a vote of no confidence in the Bears, but still -- I think the Bills are bad, but they'll pick up a win somewhere and this game looks like it might be the one.

i like it. it seems they win when people pick against them and lose when people pick them.

Said the same thing about the 08 Lions.

The 08 lions were like a million times worse.
