First Bull since MJ to be on the cover.

The angle on that makes Rose look like he's about five feet tall.

SI has been in love with those low shot angles of basketball players the last couple weeks. They had Jimmer one week, Kemba Walker and now this one.

With the win last night, the Bulls finished their road schedule at 26-15. There ended up being only two teams with more road wins than the Bulls: Miami (27-13 with one to play) and Dallas (28-13). The Lakers are 26-14 with one to play, so they could potentially finish with more road wins.

BUT THE BULLS SUCK ON THE ROAD WHAT GIVES

Heh, they were a little on the low side for a contending team on the road when they were 11-12 on the road. But then they decided to go 15-3 in their last 18 and finish the season winning 7 in a row. So much for that!

I have no idea if the time is reliable, but the online ticketing for season ticket holders updated to the following today:

Date Apr 16

Sat Home Game A vs Pacers

12:00 PM || United Center

date TBD

tbd Home Game B vs Pacers

TBD || United Center

Like I said, far from an official source, but why would the change the gametime from TBD to 12:00 unless they knew something?

Looks like it will be playoff basketball with a hangover. Should be fun.

I don't believe in jinxes or omens, or anything like that. Still, the timing of this article couldn't have been worse for the Celtics writer.

Summary: Author states on March 8th that the Celtics merely had to play decent in their last 21 games to coast to the 1 seed. At the time, the Celtics were 46-15, 3 games ahead of the Bulls and 4 ahead of the Heat, who had just lost 4 straight.

From this point exactly, the Celtics proceeded to lose 2 straight at home, and have closed the season on a 9-11 run to this point, while the Bulls have gone 17-2 and the Heat have gone 14-4.

Brewer out tonight with a sprained right thumb. Noah questionable with sprained right ankle.

Both say they're good for the playoffs.

Is anyone in the media going to take Thibs to task for trying to play Noah at the end of the game last night? wtf was that? The guy's pretty clearly the best coach in the league, but he needs to cool it with being such a redass IMO.

Thibs will probably be dead within a year or two, so let's just ride it out.

I hope he isn't too much like Scott Skiles. Every teams Skiles has coaches grew tired of him within a few years.

I don't remember any Bulls players ever reacting to or about Skiles like you're hearing the current ones talk about Thibs. They seem to be totally onboard with his approach to the game.

Thibs decided to put Rose and Deng back in for the last 20 seconds. Bulls up 95-92 with 11 seconds to play, with the ball.

Probably the best regular season by any of my teams since I started really following sports.

Thank You, Bulls.

From what I remember, they were early on with Skiles too. But that sort of coaching wears on you. Boers and Bernstein made the point that Phil Jackson learned not to coach every possession. What he's doing is fine this year, but I am worried long term. And I say worried because obviously Tom is a great coach and I want to see him in Chicago long term.

Nah, you never heard anything like this with Skiles. Just the basic, perfunctory backing up the coach rhetoric. The other huge difference is how much better a coach Thibs is than Skiles. People got fed up with Skiles because he was a hardass but he wasn't that good a coach. You've also got your key core players, Noah and Rose, on board 100% with Thibs early on in their careers.
