Is Cutler out for the rest of the game or are they thinking about sending him back in?

With the new concussion rules, we'd be lucky if Cutler plays next week.

(I'm not saying the rules are bad; in fact, given all the studies about how negative concussions are to the long-term health of athletes, it's great the NFL is finally being proactive with regards to concussions.)

I just didn't think his head hit the ground that hard. If he got a concussion, that was the softest one I have seen. I think it is more likely that Jay just wants out of this game.

You have got to be kidding me

I am dumbfounded that you don't think it is at least a possibility.

Yes, second guess Jay Cutler's skull and brain. And the Bears' trainers. I forgot you went to medical school and can diagnose through your TV.

Im dumbfounded that you think a professional athlete as competitive as Cutler would just [expletive] quit. You cant be that ignorant, you just can't.

Time will tell what? That you can tell what a soft concussion is or whatever?

I am not seeing this Cutler interview before the start of the 2nd half. I just rewound quickly and didn't see anything. Plus the announcers made a comment about how Cutler never came out of the locker room. I'm not saying it didnt happen I just don't have any recollection of it.

There's a lot of blame to go around for this shitfest that we're watching but Martz deserves to get his fair share for the atrocious play calling.

If I didn't know better, it seemed like Cutler played the whole game with a concussion. He was making such poor decisions with the ball, not recognizing blatant blitzes, and just in general, seemed apathetic or out of it or something.

So he was quitting in a situation where he's risking severe injury and possibly his playing career?
