Well, we should be able to beat UAB. UAB is kinda decent, but nothing special. 2-2 is pretty much expected at this point in the season, though it'll be nice to get a win heading into 3 of 4 games against ranked teams. LSU, Alabama and South Carolina are coming up with Georgia as the only unranked team in that group.

I'm hoping for 2-3 over the next five games. It'll be tough, but doable.

Can't wait to get back out to Ryan Field. Attending 1 game in the first 3 weeks was hard to endure.

One more week until Big Ten conference play starts, though. I'd be looking forward to watching the Michigan State/Wisconsin game in week 5 if I'd be able to see it.

Bowling Green's starting QB will likely miss the game against Michigan with a shoulder injury. Shouldn't be a huge test for Michigan's defense, but that perhaps makes their meeting with Indiana all the more intriguing. Indiana's offense vs. Michigan's defense could be pretty telling about the rest of the season for both teams.

Michigan's offense will need to put up 60 against Indiana. It's definitely possible, but boy is it going to be a long season on defense.

Just got a 2:30 central start on ESPNU, opposite Wisconsin @ Michigan State on ABC. I might only get to see a combined half of those games, unfortunately.

I didn't realize ESPNU was going to show any 2:30 Big Ten games this year. They're really trying to push it.

We shoulda beaten Michigan last year. IU keeps talking about how they need to run the ball. I say, run be damned. Throw the ball every play if you need to. Got four freaking 6'3+ WRs.

Auburn was really disappointing in the first half against Clemson...they won't be able to forget to show up in the first half against South Carolina and still win. South Carolina has an excellent running defense, but I don't see how you can really defend against Cam Newton's scrambling ability. This game will matchup probably the best two true freshman running backs in the nation in Marcus Lattimore and Mike Dyer....should be a fun game to watch.

I know Willis had a down game on Saturday, but if you can create a balanced attack, that will just make them all the more dangerous. He's a scary back. And I know Chappell hasn't thrown a pick yet, but his INT totals have been pretty high before this season.

I'm interested to see Newton's stock as an NFL prospect. He's not ready to go after this year as he still has stuff to work on, but he's huge, got a great frame and fantastic athletic ability. Depending on how his arm/decision making/etc translate to the NFL, he could go really next year.

I'm actually not worried about Chappell turning it over anymore. Last year was his 1st full season as the starting QB. And he was running Kellen Lewis' offense in 2008 when he got playing time. He brought his top 3 WRs back, so I think that full offseason will allow him to put up a 2:1 TD/INT ratio.

I wish they would get more creative w/ the run game. When IU does run it, they just run right at the D. I would like to see more draws or delays, which I think would help out the inexperienced OL too.

I'll be in Minneapolis for the riveting contest between NIU and Minnesota. Huskies need to win one of the 3 OOC games against BCS opponents. Going 0-3 against Iowa State, Illinois and Minnesota would be a pretty dismal start to a season where they were supposed to return to being a decent football team.

It'll be nice to check out TCF. Looks like a solid venue.

I'm not sure if he'll pan out as a pro or not...his decision making hasn't been horrible, but he really hasn't been great throwing the deep ball thus far. Even with his size, he won't be able to withstand the wear and tear carrying the ball 15+ times per game in the NFL will bring, so he still has a lot to prove.

He's a junior, correct? He probably won't be the first QB off the board, but he'll have another year to work with Malzahn and improve his throwing ability. I could see him becoming a Steve McNair type QB in the NFL – give him a year or two to sit the bench and learn and see what he can do about his third season in the league.

Haven't seen much SEC football yet this year: Does Arkansas have a chance?

well yeah....I guess they have a chance, but things will have to align perfectly for them to keep the game close even at home. Mallet will put up some points, but Bama is super deep and talented on both sides of the ball....I just don't see it being a nail biter for the Chrimson Tide.

yep just a junior. Unfortunately, 80% of Auburn's starting offensive line graduates at the end of this season, so Newton will most likely need to scramble even more next year. He has the athletic ability to be very special...just have to wait and see.

Andy, thanks for not putting the Ole Miss game in "games of interest" like you normally do, because I have no interest anymore. I'm not exactly sure what rock bottom is, but losing to a I-AA team for the first time in school history and losing AT HOME (anywhere for that matter) to Vandy is pretty damn close. Although the last time we lost to Vandy at home we ended up going to and winning the Cotton Bowl....but this time won't even win 3 more games in my opinion.
