I don't know why they haven't decided what those noon games are going to be on. I would make an assumption, but then for some reason SJSU/Wisconsin was on ESPN last week while Georgia/S. Carolina was on ESPN2.

I only see 3 games where Big 10 teams are matched up with Pac 10 teams. But your right, 2 of those 3 aren't very interesting at all.

I'm quasi-counting Nebraska @ Washington.

I'm hoping for random massive upsets because I see don't much to get thrilled about in this slate of games.

Iowa/Arizona is the game of the week.

Yeah this sucks. This past Saturday I couldn't really watch anything but some of UGA/South Carolina at the tailgate and the late games when I got home because Iowa had a home 2:30 game. This week they're on the road and don't play until 9:30 so it's the first Saturday of the year I'll be home watching but this schedule is weak.

Gameday is at Clemson/Auburn? Eek. I suppose they probably wouldn't have wanted to be at the Arizona game because of the late start though.

I'm calling it now. Tennessee beats Florida.

That would make the season for me. We're probably not better than a 6-win team this year (if that), so beating Florida would be the high point of the year.

Tennessee played very well for a half against Oregon, we just don't have the depth at this point to hang with a good team for four quarters. I feel better about the starters seeing them play so well against a quality Oregon team, but Dooley really needs to recruit well to fix the depth. There's pretty much no depth on this team and the guys who are there suck. The players were obviously tired by late third quarter and it showed in the poor tackling. Also, Darron Thomas is really good at the zone read plays. He rarely makes the wrong decision and it's difficult to tell who has the ball immediately.

As for Saturday, I think it'll go much like last week. Tennessee should hang with Florida for a half or three quarters and then the Gators' depth will blow us away.

Auburn is a 6 point favorite over a Clemson team that is ranked 26th in the coaches poll. AU's secondary is a big problem in my eyes, and they'll have to improve to beat Clemson. Cam Newton is exciting to watch...for a 6-6 250# guy, he is extremely elusive, and he will run over defenders. he has shown that he can throw the short and mid length passes with precision, but he has not yet established the deep ball. I'll be in the New Orleans French Quarter for my bachelor party this weekend, and the plan is to watch college football in the Quarter all day and then move on to various forms of debauchery.

If Crist is healthy, should be a good win in a tough environment. Any time Floyd wants to stop fumbling and dropping passes that hit him in the numbers would be great, thanks.

This. Floyd has looked far from great this year.

I had this game down as an L before the season because ND always has a hard time up there. Hope I'm wrong.

playing UMass, it might be a good week to start running pass plays a little bit

UMass is a quality FCS team. I'm hoping Michigan doesn't have a trap game after the big win at ND. I will never forget the Horror and hopefully Michigan hasn't either. They better be ready to play this week.

Considering that's sixty percent of the possible such games -- only could be five -- and Nebraska plays Washington, three games seems pretty relevant.

Wonder which team will show up vs. Southern Miss. It'll be a tough game either way. First roadie for a lot of key players.

I wouldn't worry too much about that game. USM is really bad this year.

I've been terrified of the Arizona game all summer. I really hope Iowa can dominate both lines like they have been doing (against weaker teams obviously.)
