Screw you Lundqvist.

The Blackhawks outplayed the Rangers in that game but Henry was the difference. Oh well, at least I got to enjoy my favorite thing about MSG, the pretzel rod that comes with each beer.

He was all right, but the Rangers just had better scoring chances compared to the Hawks. Defensive breakdowns led to all three of the Rangers goals. That's getting extremely old.

Meanwhile, guys like Kopecky and Toews were shooting the puck right into Lundqvist's chest and pads whenever they had chances.

I only watched the first period of the game, but man that place seemed empty. Was it as dead quiet as it sounded on tv?

We went to our seats at 650 and it was empty. But it kept filling up. 7:00 starts kind of suck. The lack of scoring contributed to the quiet atmosphere, but it's also the lack of any rivalry between the Rangers and Chicago. I've been there for Flyers, Maple Leafs and a couple other games and there is more life. I literally had zero negative comments from the fans about my Hawks jersey, even in calm situations I'll get a couple "F Chicago" comments.

There was that open netter off a rebound right near the end of the game that Sharp blasted about 16 feet over the goal as well

Yeah I saw that....wasnt sure if it deflected off a stick though. Can't see how someone would miss an open net from 2 feet away that badly.

The Blackhawks' Jordan Hendry and John Scott will get a different view from the ice Wednesday night when they take on the Devils at the United Center.

Normally defensemen, the duo will play on a forward line with Fernando Pisani against New Jersey. Scott has played up front several times but it's Hendry's first stint as a winger this season.

"I'm playing forward tonight so it's a little different look for me personally," Hendry said after Wednesday's morning skate. "I'm excited about it; it will be fun. I probably played five or six games last year at forward, earlier on in the season when we had some injuries. I played forward growing up, too, so it's not completely different to me. Obviously, it's a lot different at this level. It should be good."

Even with that horrendous 4th line tonight, we have no business losing to the Devils.

If we do, I'll start to think that it's going to be a battle just to make the playoffs this season.

I was on that bandwagon, but then I heard on Comcast last night that the Hawks are only 1 GB last years pace at this point. Not saying we're as good as last years team, but it tells me that 14 games isnt a definite look at how good you'll be through 50 games or 80 games.

We had a ridiculous circus trip last season too where I think we only lost one game on it. Bottom line is we need to start beating teams at home, like New Jersey, that we should beat.

It will be incredibly disappointing to lose back to back games to teams my friends are fans of, but not tragic. I'm really annoyed at how many more games they have played in comparison to everybody else this early in the season when all teams are struggling to click. Nobody else has 14 (15th tonight), several have only played 8 or 9 and most are at 10-11. The combination of early injuries and a whole bunch of new guys makes that tough.

Wholly crap we blow the big chunks.

OK, it's early but Jesus.

Hey I know, let's just give more guys the puck right in front of our goal, brilliant.
