Had great seats at the ND/Purdue game today. More than a little uneven at times, but Crist is going to be just fine. The defense should be at least mediocre, which will be more than enough most games.

As GR said, some dumb mistakes kept Purdue in it, but they were able to hold them off in the end. If Michigan really did teach Denard Robinson how to throw that game's gonna be difficult.

I've yet to be impressed by a Big 12 team.

Nebraska has probably been the most impressive (based off of score, I haven't watched any of their game) but do they count as Big 12 anymore?

You really think ND is going to put up that many points? Crist has a long way to go. Their defense can be better than mediocre though so they should be all right.

Next week's game will probably end up with over 100 points combined.

okie state's running back had over 200 yards and 3 TDs in the first half. looks like wazzu is gonna have another stellar year.

What the hell happened to that program? They were never amazing but they've had some good years even within the past 10 years. Now they are one of the worst BCS conference teams I remember in a long time.

I was at the Illinois-Mizzou game today and still haven't seen a replay of Mizzou's 1st TD. Was the guy inbounds or not? I was sitting nearly lined up with the back of the end zone and it sure looked like one foot was in and one was out when he caught the ball, but of course Illinois was too dumb to call a timeout to get the play reviewed.

yeah they beat texas in the 2003 holiday bowl and finished #9 in the country, and made a couple of rose bowls in the late '90s/early '00s. it seems like they were headed the right direction under mike price before he left to be alabama's coach for about 5 minutes. i would guess that part of the problem is recruiting against other pac 10 schools with big stadiums in beautiful locations with hot co-eds, and they're stuck in crappy pullman with a small stadium and probably a bunch of uggos.

A friend of mine said his one foot was in and his other foot was in the air over the line but came down second. I haven't seen a replay yet either.
