statistically, Ingram is a better between-the-tackles runner, but a backup of that caliber is a nice luxury to have

I must have skimmed the article when that happened because I envisioned him getting hit in a low speed collision on campus while on his bicycle. His shoe went at least 50 feet straight up.

Well yeah, going with a QB who has been in the system for 3 years and had actually been decent at one point is usually a better option than going with a first-time starter.

It's amazing he was not hurt worse by that. Koeppel was battling James Ferentz for the starting center position, and it appeared they were neck and neck.

I don't expect them to screw it up aside from moving the Ohio State and Michigan rivalry. Most of the fans that will be upset will be at Michigan and Ohio State, but only minor annoyances elsewhere.

 

Schools with fans that will be upset:

-Michigan

-Ohio State

 

Schools with fans that will be upset because they're losing a rivalry but really should have thought there was a high probability that they'd lose one

-Iowa

-Wisconsin

 

Schools with fans that will be upset because they're in the same division as Ohio State but should have expected it anyways

-Indiana

-Purdue

 

Schools with fans that will be upset because they're in the same division as Ohio State and thought they'd be able to avoid it

1 - Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Northwestern

2 - Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Purdue, Indiana, Illinois

 

Honestly, I really don't get that setup. The cross-division rivalries don't make nearly as much sense.
