So Hendry finally realized that there was a reason Howry couldn't even stick with a team with a historically bad bullpen.

I love the photo from the opposite angle that shows that the spaz charging Howry is clearly rattled by Howry not reacting at all.

I remember that part well. I always wondered if it was because A. Howry, who looks like some type of crazed Vietnam soldier ala Full Metal Jacket, knew he could annihalate that guy if he got close enough or B. Howry knew he derved someone to charge him that night.

"He said, 'What are you doing?'" Howry said after the game. "I said, 'I'm out here trying to give up home runs. What do you think?' "
Brent Kowalkoski, the fan who raced onto the field and confronted Cubs reliever Bob Howry during the ninth inning of a game against Colorado last June 25th, pled guilty on Thursday to a felony count of trespassing.

Because of Bob Howry, someone lost the right to vote.

I was there that evening. What a wild game. Cubs gave up quite a few runs in the 9th to the Rockies and then the Cubs came back to win it on a Soriano blooper in the 9th.

Cubs won that game, so I think we can all give Bob a pass for it.
