the score guys are acting z can't be fixed because he has all of these deep-seated issues when in actuality, we don't need to fix him, we just need to get him to stop taking swings at his teammates. if they focused on that, i think they'd be fine.

No, just swing at the right teammates. He should've targeted Theriot.

That sounds about right. The media loved it when he was all "fiery" and "emotional" when he was good. Now that he is having a bad year, it's a problem. His emotions, and how he succumbs to them is what made him so good for so long. The problem is that when he sucks, those who have no idea on how to explain why he sucks, just blames it on his emotions.

He needs to be "rehabbing" whatever physical ailment that has his velo down.

I'm not sure you can just rehab age and overuse. Most guys lose velocity with age, especially those that rack up lots of innings at a young age.

HGH can overcome age and overuse.

I've always thought Zambrano was a couple of years older than his listed age.

Zambrano's apology

"It was a moment of frustration," Zambrano said Monday in an interview with ESPN. "I was trying to fire up the team. Lee told me to shut up, and I got more excited. I apologize from the bottom of my heart. The last person I would be mad at is D. Lee; he's a Gold Glover. I was just mad at myself."

Zambrano said he has already apologized to Lee.

"I texted Lee two days after it happened, and we talked after that," Zambrano said. "I apologized to him, and he responded well. He's a professional. He's one of the best teammates you can have."

Zambrano will apologize to the rest of his teammates when he rejoins the Cubs on Friday in Denver against the Colorado Rockies. He hopes he and the Cubs can move on after the apology.

"A lot of people have told me I need to change if I want to be successful," Zambrano said. "Thank God the Cubs have sent me to the doctor for anger management. I've had three sessions already ... doing exercises. I have to write down every time I get mad."

How long before he goes on the DL with hand cramps?

Maybe we will see Z on the mound with a pen and paper writing down every time he gets mad at an ump squeezin him. "Timeout Blue, I need to write down that you are pissing me off with your tiny ass strikezone."

Anyone else bothered by the two days? That really underlines the immaturity and lack of responsibility involved IMO.

Zambrano could've saved everyone a whole lot of trouble if he had shortened that to two hours (i.e., in the clubhouse right after the game).

Trade Lilly and put Z back into the rotation. Please.

I'd rather have Z take over Cashner's roll and have Cashner start a couple of games. It sounds like Z's going to be in the bullpen anyway.

No, not really bothered by that.

Lou told him to go home after the incident.

And the way the Cubs spent the next few days acting they probably put a lock on the clubhouse door along with a crude picture of Z that said "NO ZAMBRANOS ALLOWED" on it.

"So how come Victor is allowed in there....?"

"It says no Zambranos, were allowed to have one."

And also stop acting like a petulant child and stomping around all pissed off on the mound when he gets squeezed by the ump.

Z is the very embodiment of the term "Million Dollar arm, ten cent head."

I'd love if this phrase was banned forever.

But what if Cashner has already eaten that roll? If he hasn't it's probably stale by now anyway.
