Was that a bad enough call on that goal that it's going to be a big story after the game??

On a potential go-ahead goal? You'd have to think so, right?

It would be bigger if it was the tying goal rather than the go ahead.

So, just for review...

- Yellow, instead of red, on Altidore's run to the box

- Way too many either missed calls or calls that were HORRIBLE

- Bradley held close and danced with, Altidore held, but winning goal disallowed by an either bogus offsides or even more bogus (& non-existent) US foul

I thought the yellow was a reasonable call.

But a U.S. player got a yellow for a "handball" that hit him in the chest.

I though the yellow for the late tackle from behind should have been a red, not the one on Jozy.

Forgot that one. Hit him in the face/neck and bounces off immediately, but gets called a 'handball'. Just horrible.

It'll be a story, but referees screwing teams is just one of the fun parts of the game and happens pretty regularly.

So soccer has idiots who like the human element as well?

And the fact that there's only one ref and everything else. They're much worse than the fans of other sports at wanting the rules kept the same until eternity, it seems

Well, 2-2 draw after the first half - can't complain really.

But to be screwed out of the 3 points by a VERY [expletive] call is just soooo hard to take.

Assuming England wins:

SLV 4

ENG 4

USA 2

ALG 0

So a USA win, and a non draw for ENG/SLV means advancement.

A 2 goal USA win and a ENG/SLV draw means advancement.

Great. All we need now is additional discipline resulting from a postgame confrontation with the horrid ref.

A hard-earned draw. Would shoulda coulda been 3, but still very much alive.

Let's not forget the gutty performance that got us out of a 2 goal hole and back into contention for a trip to the knockout round. Now a win will get us pretty good odds of advancing.

If England wins its last 2 games and we win our last game, we're in. That's probably the most likely scenario anyways.

If England loses to Slovenia and we win, we're in too.

If England ties slovenia and we win, we have goal differential to worry about and it comes down to who beats Algeria by more.

I cannot stand the players clapping over their heads. It's the dumbest looking thing in sports, aside from tennis players clapping their rackets.

Would you prefer the bow/courtsey?

I'd prefer nothing. It's silly.

Do you also dislike the Hawks raising their sticks to the fans after a home win?
