What?

Regular season wins don't always matter when it comes to the playoffs. Two times in a row Cleveland had a great record and did squat in the playoffs. In the playoffs, Cleveland's lack of secondary options means that a good team will beat them 4/7. This is much harder to do in the regular season. The playoffs are about matchups. Cleveland doesn't match up very well against playoff teams.

All I said was I think the Bucks are better than the bulls

The Bucks aren't bad. Is Redd going to bet he 2 and Salmons the 3?

I don't see Redd playing another game with the Bucks even if he gets healthy.

Redd will never suit up for the Bucks again. Their starting lineup will probably be:

B. Jennings PG

J. Salmons SG

C. Maggette SF

D. Gooden PF

A. Bogut C

Bench:

Douglas-Roberts

Ridnour

Mbah a Moute

Ilyasova

Sanders

Hobson

Gallon

Delfino

That's probably a top 4-6 team but not top 3.

What kind of contract could the Bulls sign Ray Allen to and still be able to get Lebron at the max?

Not enough. Allen's not gonna leave the Celtics unless he's getting big money.

He's signing with the Celtics for $1M, right?

Then donate it back to the Celtics.

No, but he's not going to leave his comfort zone with teammates he knows, and a coaching staff he knows, for a chance at a 2nd ring.

No, but he's not going to leave his comfort zone with teammates he knows, and a coaching staff he knows, for a nominal increase in a chance at a ring.

But he goes with Thibodeau who he knows. He left to go to Boston to get a ring once. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to the Bulls.

Plus he would get paid a lot more than the Celtics can offer. Don't forget the almighty dollar.

He already has a ring, who cares about getting a 2nd ring. It's not like he's stuck on the Timberwolves.

Like I said if the Bulls free up big money to pay him, I can see him leaving, but he's not leaving unless they ship out Deng's contract.

That's one guy vs. 20

Doesn't look like we are getting LeBron, so to me Reddick is the play here. He'll come much cheaper than Allen. By saving some cap space we can try to sign Jason Richardson next year when he hits the mkt.

Mike Miller or Anthony Morrow

They'd probably be even cheaper, though Miller seems to be in high demand. He can still shoot the lights out.

Meh, I'm more keen on Morrow, though they're pretty similar as far as I can tell - I've only seen Morrow play for all of 10 minutes or so in the pros, though, so yeah. Morrow's a better 3 point shooter and rebounder.

Forget Reddick if you are saving $ to get Richardson. I'm not interested in him.

Take out Ridnour. Delfino could start instead of Maggette as well. Should battle anywhere from a 3-6 seed.

I dunno, I think he fills the Steve Kerr role on the team pretty nicely. And Richardson is somewhat Harper-esque. Of course, we are missing the other piece of that historic three-guard rotation...

That's a pretty solid team, and they can go 10-deep with players that played over 20 mins per last year, 10 of whom scored in double digits per game last year. Lot resting on Jennings and Bogut taking antoher step forward and guys like Salmons and Maggette being happy with their PT and shots.

No offense but I see that team as a stretch to even get into the playoffs.
