Was Soriano forced at third by who?

No, he was forced at third by Chris Johnson.

I had just turned the game on and it looked like nobody was forcing sori over to third, so I was looking for a tag to be applied

Soto had an inside-the-park homerun in 2008.

Against Houston no less if memory serves

Yep.

on a ball that should have been ruled a home run (over the fence)

For the record, I think we're going to win, but if we lose this will be the most annoying stupid loss of all time. By far.

This game is very frustrating, but aren't most Cubs games? I don't see how this one is any worse than the average loss we had last year.

And people were knocking me when i said trade him to the Angels for Prospects and try to get Miguel Cabrera from the tigers when the tigers were trying to shed payroll.

Man, who was knocking that? I'd much rather have Miguel than Aramis.

Agreed. The Astros do not have a good enough pitching rotation to keep the Cards and Cubs to a combine 2 runs in 16 innings. So yeah, I do think the Cubs will win, but this game is clearly annoying.

i would too, but cabrera is too fat to be a 3B.

How's he done at first?

Good thought, but the tigers never wanted to move Cabrera.

This is how it always is when we play Houston. We can hit around guys like Oswalt but when they throw bums at us we can't do anything. Anyone remember when Brian Moehler shut us down like three times in 2008?

At one point they did. It was either going to be Granderson or Miggy. I was saying the cubs should trade for Miggy and let him play 3B for one year and let Lee walk in the offseason so Cabrera could go to 1st. Its wishful thinking but people were crying that no way should they trade Aram.
