Somebody get Bud Selig's office a GD map. I cannot watch this game on MLB TV because of the blackout. HELLO! Houston is 5 [expletive] hours from Dallas. It's no closer than St. Louis is to Chicago.

Who the hell is Felipe Paulino?

IDK but gameday has him throwing 96, is that right?

yeah he has a pretty big arm, probably shaky command to have not done much in the big leagues through age 26.

so first pitch swinging might not be a good strategy?

that said though, they seem to be fastballs over the plate and they seem to be making good contact.

Sadly, Bud Selig does not have that power. If he did, the blackout rules would be a lot better. As bad as Selig is, the government is much worse when it comes to using common sense.

what does soriano have to do to not get booed?

Not make an out the rest of the season, make no errors, balance the national budget, get unemployment under 5%, and find a cure for cancer. Then maybe he won't get booed.

Who is responsible for the blackout rules then?

You don't get a FSN Astros station?

Or stand by Marisa Miller.

Blackout rules are really strange. I lived with a friend before my girlfriend, and I would be able to see all rays and marlins games. However, my buddy who lived only about 20 minutes away from me would be blacked out. Now that I have moved to St. Petersburg though, I can't get rays games anymore. I haven't tried the marlins yet.

Earn his paycheck?

Sure, but it's beyond moronic to single him out when he strikes out when nobody else on the team has a [expletive] hit.

The blackout rules are the same as the ones outlined by the FCC. MLB.tv has to follow them. They are trying to get around them as much as they can (such as in-market games for Yankees and Padres fans, but they have to meet other requirements.)

Here's the map:

Sucks to be in Iowa.

Because the fans are booing him based off that one at bat?

They're booing him every time he makes an out regardless of what else he's done in the game or what anyone else has done. It's stupid.

Thanks for picking me up, Fred. Couldn't get on my computer at class last night like usual and just completely brain-farted after that.

Carlos Silva is well on his way to making me look like a moron for dissing him so much in the off-season.
