He always played with lots of intensity and anger but he usually kept it inward and used it as fuel for himself. He then won a championship and has decided no one can touch him or else. Gotten pretty full of himself. I remember the first year with the Celtics he was kind of the quiet, stoic leader. Now he's Rasheed Wallace.

i'm weirdly encouraged by this game

 

our defense the final 3 quarters was outstanding (it has sucked for at least a month) and hopefully Durant and Green have that deer in the headlights oh crap it's our first playoff game thing out of their systems.

 

Westbrook was pure money today and that should continue because fisher can't check him

 

the downside is that we have no way to make up our size deficit unless collison grows 4 inches tonight (i will be praying)

No one on our team could slash to the paint - or even tried, really - but Russ would coast upcourt and then just flash through like a running back. I love it when he gets like that.

Fisher's a horrible defender, but Westbrook's fun to watch when he's doing that. If he can get a consistent jump shot, he's going to be an elite player.

oh yeah, i didn't meant to act like it was an accomplishment to beat fisher off the dribble, he's a geriatric.

 

westbrook is one of those guys who shoots better from awkward angles and with his body all contorted than if he gets his feet set. i don't know if that's something you try to fix or if it's something you just roll with and try to refine.

 

god i would kill for marcus camby right now. I wanted to trade for him so bad at the deadline, dammit. We'd be no worse than a 6-seed with a legit post player. Green and Krstic are just so overmatched, though I think Krstic is underrated.
