He's just bitter because the Bulls made the playoffs and the Rockets didn't.

I'm quite happy the Rockets didn't make the playoffs. I've had two years in a row with our best player/s not healthy for the playoffs and thus no real shot at a championship. I'm not so desperate for the playoffs that I would root for the 8th seed just so I can say my team made the playoffs at the cost of the lottery.

Oh and 42-40 in the Western Conference >>>>>>>>>> 41-41 in the Leastern Conference.

Can you not talk about your team in the Playoff thread, I don't wanna get confused. Don't we have a non playoff team thread?

Wasn't the one that brought it up but feel free to keep being a prick.

I'm looking forward to the playoffs and will watch way too many games.

The OKC/LA series could be VERY interesting with the Lakers hurt/scuffling down the stretch. KD could go off in the national spotlight. Most of the country has no clue how good this guy is.

I find it pretty funny how the older stars are getting p.o.ed that he's getting star treatment. Guys, he's a superstar.

Why are you always trying to tell everyone else what to do? And seriously I just didn't want to get confused, I thought we were talking about playoff teams in this thread. Not the Houston Rockets.

The Lakers are the last team that should be complaining about superstar treatment. They've gotten it for 30-40 years straight.

odom and gasol are the key. i have a feeling that KD and Kobe will sort of equalize each other, but our bigs can't keep up with theirs, bynum or no bynum.

i like our bench, though.

That's because they have always had superstars. That's also why it behooves you to have one rather than an entire lineup of above average players. That's why I prefer the college game as it seems you have to be more balanced.

the NBA playoffs are only unbearable in the first round, when the NBA can't get it's [expletive] together enough to get all the games on TV without 3 days off between every game

I realize they have always had superstars. Just more the reason they should be complaining. Kobe hit Artest twice in the face and elbowed Battier in the neck when he was on the ground last year and got nothing.

LOL at "more than half the games against playoff teams" when EVERY SINGLE TEAM has more than half their games against the other conference against playoff teams.

How is it possible for every team in the league to play a majority of their games against the other conference against playoff teams? Maybe it is possible but I can't think of how, especially when schedules are made before the season starts and thus you don't know who will make playoffs and who won't.

LOL.

Never knew you played every team from the other conference twice. I thought every season was different.

I actually think the Thunder have a chance. However, even if its close you know the NBA league office will not allow that to happen.

Which means if the Thunder wants to beat the Lakers, they have to be significantly better then the Lakers. With or without "help" that is a tall order. But alas, I do agree with you the L won't allow the Thunder to beat the Lakers.....cause it's not.............part........of the script.

So, who's a better matchup for the Bulls in the second round? Heat or Celtics

Is this a joke?

Cavs fans seems to think it's their right to already talk about the 2nd round. Don't get me wrong, when you have LBJ you should feel cocky, but Cleveland hasn't done enough or dominate enough to warrant such cockiness.

While I won't pretend to think the Bulls will win this series, Cleveland for the most part isn't nearly as good as their record says they are. They have a mediocre coach, and their supporting cast leaves a lot to be desired, excluding Jamison and Williams.

I'm going to watch every minute of every game. That includes the first round. But, that said, I don't think we'll have much of a problem with the Bulls. This isn't the West where all eight teams are legitimately good teams.

Also, how exactly are they not nearly as good as the record says? Was it the last four games of the season that we lost when LeBron didn't play that made you think that? Or, maybe the slow start to the season and adjustments having to be made with the addition of Shaq and Jamison. If anything, I'd say they are significantly better than their record says.

Also, in your supporting cast talk, you forgot a few players. Most importantly, Varejao. The league and announcers now recognize how important of a player he is. You also didn't mention Shaq, West, and Parker. Now that the playoffs have started, guys like JJ Hickson, Big Z, and Jamario Moon are going to have trouble finding any minutes. In my opinion, they have the best roster in the NBA, but only because the Lakers aren't nearly as deep.

Oh, and Kevin Garnett is such a punk. I didn't think I could possibly dislike that guy more than I already do.
