Leuer choked at the line but carrot top has his back I guess.

I don't know anything about Wisconsin, and outside of Martin and Pullen, I don't know much about KSU. I wasn't looking at the TV, but when Bruesewitz hit that 3, i didn't have to look to see what team he played for. No one named Bruesewitz will ever play at KSU

I don't think I could have done much worse in the Southeast region if I had actually tried. I only got Pitt, Florida, BYU and KSt right in the first round, nothing today and I'm not going to get anything else the rest of the way.

These Anderson rumors are a perfect representation of all that is hilarious and awesome and embarrassing and awful about twitter.

Well, I knew Pitt would have problems in round 2...I just picked the wrong team to give them problems.

If Notre Dame struggles the Big East could be down to two teams in the Sweet Sixteen.

And both of them would be because they were playing other Big East teams ... hahaha.

Here's the question I have...what the hell was that Pitt player doing swatting at the ball after Howard got position?

After seeing it so many times, I really have a suspicion that when the 2nd free throw missed he instinctively thought that they were still down a point and fouled right away. He literally got lost in the moment and confused the actual score. Thats about the only thing I can think of for hacking immediately in a situation where you don't hack at all, you don't even think about it.

As if Raisin needed another reason to hate Arizona:

SI[/url]"]The beauty of the modern NCAA tournament, where locker rooms are equipped with DirecTV, is that one drama can flow seamlessly into the next, even if they unfold 2,200 miles away. San Diego State was in its locker room after its own less-than-poetic ending — a double-overtime game in which it had the ball for the last possession of regulation and the first OT, and failed to score, but saved a victory over Temple with a clutch Malcolm Thomas block — watching the Butler second half. When the score was 62-60, a DVR prompt came up to record Jersey Shore; the digs belonged to Arizona’s hoops team, and apparently they’d set a season pass for the appalling MTV series. An Aztecs player stood up and asked, “Jersey Shore? Anyone? Yes? No?” before rectifying the situation.

Not tournament related but there is a rumor floating around that Mbakwe was arrested again last night. Losing Hoffarber, Nolen, and maybe Mbawke, Minny could be in the cellar next year.

Is there really a significant number of people who think those fouls shouldn't have been called in the Pitt/Butler game? Or is this just a media-generated story?

They looked like pretty obvious fouls to me -- the kind that can't be ignored, even in the final seconds.

Gilbert Brown missing his second free throw is getting overlooked in all of this. He had a chance to win the game for Pitt and just completely blew it.
