Paul has looked great. Does this mean Joe Bertrand will be the odd man out?

bertrand was never going to be ahead of paul. he'll get some minutes.

i have to change my opinion of tisdale, he's evolved into a pretty unstoppable offensive weapon down low.

Nah, I meant out of the rotation, not over Paul. I thought Bertrand's best chance to play was in the backup PG role. Head's been good on defense so I think Bruce will play him a bit more.

Change your opinion?

I thought your opinion of Tisdale has always been to ridiculously overrate him.

I didn't watch most of the game but that Toledo team looked suspiciously white.

lol. yeah, i've been a regular tisdale groupie.

don't get me wrong, he's still useless in a few areas. he looks great on the boards when he's battling it out with walk-ons, though.

but it's certain death if he catches the ball cleanly in the post.

I'm just hopeful that SIU can keep it within 15 on Saturday night. I can't believe we're paying a coach $750,000 to be ranked 9th out of 10 teams in the preseason conference poll.

I think I miss a good SIU team more than anything else in sports right now. That and a championship contending Bulls team.

Dammit, that meltdown would've been epic.

haha...even as an IU fan I would have probably enjoyed seeing some people go off the deep end.

It would have been ridiculous. People calling for Crean's head, etc, etc.

word.

Peegs was saying IU about 20 mins ago but I didn't want to jinx it. Yogi, please.

Cody said that he would start recruiting players immediately and he mentioned Yogi by name. With IU needing another point guard by 2012 and at least 2 other players recruiting him it would seem like IU has everything lined up for Yogi.

IU needs a point guard by 2010.

Jumping the gun (how can you not?).

But the 2011-12 Hoosiers are looking like:

F- Watford

F- Zeller

G- Jones III

G- Hulls

G- Creek

Bench- Elston (assuming he stays), Etherington, Oladipo, Marc-Michel (gets PT just based on size)

The 2012 Hoosiers could look like:

F- Watford

F- Zeller

F- Perea

G- Ferrell

G- Creek

With Hulls, Elston, Etherington, and Oladipo as key bench contributors.
