Just saw that Schefter is reporting that Jake Delhomme will visit Cleveland Thursday.

Cutting Anderson and Quinn loose to replace them with Seneca Wallace and Jake Delhomme doesn't seem to be the answer. That's a lateral move (at best) if I've ever seen one.

Yeah, I don't get it.

remember after derek anderson had that good year and everybody was talking about how cleveland had a dream situation at QB?

no

Ravens resign Mason, Flacco could be a sleeper option for fantasy QB's this year. Not that he was bad last year, but he could end up a top 5-7 with their receiving core.

Packers re-signed Pickett and Collins to long-term deals and also re-signed Tauscher.

They also introducted a third jersey for this season as well: http://packerslounge.com/2010/03/12/the-new-jersey/

No offense to the Packers fans on this site, but damn that new uni is uglier then the Bears orange jersey. That jersey belongs in a Dodgeball tournament, not on one of the historic franchises in all of sports.

Jay Glazer reports Brady Quinn traded to Denver for two conditional picks and Peyton Hillis. Thanks for ruining him, Cleveland.

I really don't think Cleveland ruined Quinn. Those problems in his game were always there.

He has problems, but he's started 12 games on a team that had almost literally no offensive talent and was yanked around like no 1st round signal-caller I've ever seen. There are some far worse QBs that have gotten far more time than he got. I can only hope he can beat out Kyle Orton in Denver.

Last year the Browns could have had Jay Cutler for Brady Quinn. This year they got two late-round picks and Peyton Hillis.

I found this quote over on Adam Schefter's Twitter and I shake my head. Cleveland going from possibly getting Jay Cutler to Peyton Hillis and two late rd draft picks for Brady Quinn, is the main reason why they are the Browns.

I may lose it if they draft Jimmy Clausen, as ESPN's John Clayton is floating. That franchise is poison for skill position players.

Schefter's lost a little credibility, I think. Seems like Denver considered acquiring BQ last year but couldn't reach a deal. Given what the Bears gave up to get Cutler, I don't think the deal would have been Quinn for Cutler straight up. The Browns may not have been willing to give up BQ plus a first round pick (and more). Maybe they think they're not going to compete right now, so why not draft a QB this year and develop him rather than give up a bunch of picks for Cutler. Or maybe they're Cleveland and they're stupid.

As for whether Cleveland ruined BQ, I don't know if that's true. It wasn't a good situation for him. Denver's offense seems like a good fit for his skills. This should at least be a better opportunity to see if he'll be any good at this level.

I'm not a huge fan of it either. Too Notre Dame-ish for my tastes.

JaMarcus Russell was apparently a no show at the first day of Raiders' voluntary workouts. I know they're not mandatory, but when you suck as much as he does, it's probably a good idea to be there.
