Along with others, my frustration with today's set-up was the constant "We're sorry..." message. At one point, I had three tabs going with the message and for any progress to be made you have to sit there and manually click "continue" to move forward that window to have a chance to get tickets. At least when you're in the VWR, you can do other things in the meantime and keep an eye on the tabs.

I wound up getting all 3 cincy games in early august. Combined with my 9 game brewer pack, I'll be seeing cub baseball live at least 6 times this year. For me, that's acceptable.

I'd really like to work in a road trip to a random destination this year, such as KC or maybe Cincy. Expand the number of ballparks I can say I've been to.

I must say over the past 10 years or so that I have tried to get Cubs tickets on the first day this has been the best experience I have had. I got in within the first 3 minutes and got 4 bleacher tickets to opening day, which I dont know if Im keeping yet. Then within the next 30 minutes I was able to snag 3 tickets to the Cardinals series in July and September and to a Braves game in August. Yes the Due To High Volumes error was annoying, but for me was well worth the wait.

I got my pocket schedules in the mail today. They sent me 9 of them. Normally they just sent one or 2. I guess I can pass some out at work.

Anyone who is actually going to do this should just buy them from me.

Except I probably wouldn't sell Sox or Yankees at face. And I'm keeping opening day. So that basically leaves no games anybody wants.

Seems like we have a decent amount of STH now too, but yeah, it sucks. This used to be awesome. I'd have like 200 VWR tabs open.

I know. I remember how id count the days until tickets went on sale, waited in line for wristbands and then got up early to hear the winning number called. In 2005 I was 200 away from the winning number and excitedly went down the Wrigley and bought tickets to the Red Sox series and a few others. Now I don't even bother going online to buy tickets.

I got 6 seats on the right field terrace for the 100th birthday game vs DBacks on April 23rd. Thought it would be a memorable game to take the family to....hope it's not snowing!

Plenty of good seats available for opening day, the Yankees and White Sox series.

This is going to be the bottom out year as far as pre-season ticket sales go I'm thinking.
