    I must say over the past 10 years or so that I have tried to get Cubs tickets on the first day this has been the best experience I have had. I got in within the first 3 minutes and got 4 bleacher tickets to opening day, which I dont know if Im keeping yet. Then within the next 30 minutes I was able to snag 3 tickets to the Cardinals series in July and September and to a Braves game in August. Yes the Due To High Volumes error was annoying, but for me was well worth the wait.

    Please get a win tonight in return for not only sitting in the "Rock Pile" for last nights game but also having to sit next to some drunk 14 year old girls try to taunt me the whole game. Then when I asked them why were they even there since they obviously didn't know anything about baseball and asked them who was pitching for them tonight, they're response....that one Mexican guy. You stay classy Denver.

    Can we change the Cubs name in the heading to Losers. Then if they win Game 3 we can change it to Cobs for Game 4 and if they win that change it to Cubs for game 5. Hey I'm reaching..I'm just grasping at straws to hang on to hope, but hope always finds a way to f me in the a.

    I don't care to who and I don't care for what (a bag of baseballs, some new bats, some athletic supporters, an open bar tab somewhere, an extra value meal not even supersized) just please get him out of the starting rotation and off this team. Bring back Marshall, bring back Hill, put Lieber in his spot, put a tee with a ball on it at home plate...I don't care. These are the months where Marquis is supposed to be "more dominant" and what has he done so far? An ERA of 5.26, a WHIP of 1.73, a K/B ratio of 24/16 and a BAA of .327 Craptastic. Everytime before one of his starts the key to the game is for Jason to keep the ball down and what usually happens? He keeps it down for 2 maybe 3 innings and then the sinker and slider starts to flatten out and his fastball tails back towards the hitter. Im tired of it. He didn't even deserve this spot coming out of Spring Training. Please take your undeserved, overpaid salary elsewhere. In fact if you actually wanna help the team get in your car and drive it into the car carrying Jim Edmonds. Two problems taken care of in the same event.

    Another reason to hate the Brewers...they stole away my Fox telecast of the Cubs!!! Stupid living in Wisconsin...I really need to move. :cry:

    I'm going down for Saturday and Sunday's games. I'd be willing to meet up with anyone. This will be my first trip down there so let me know some cool places to hang out and I iwll be there. Saturday I will be in my Cuck the Fardinals shirt(yes I know very classy) and Sunday I will be n my home DLee jersey. Let me know if anyone is up for meeting and where.

    If nothing else sign Uribe out of spite and then tell Baltimore that he would be what the trade for Roberts would be built around. Put that in your nest and sit on it! :twisted:

    And by the way the Parrot deserves a spot in the top 10. Easiestly one of the best reactions by a mascot to a home run that I have ever seen. :lol:

    I would have to say, and im being partial since i was at the game, that the ARam walk off was the best game of last year. I just remember being totally bummed for 8 innings and getting teased by my Brewer friends the whole time then..BAM absolute rejuvenation and good times at the Cubby Bear after that. \:D/

    Truffle is right...it was a ball hit to left field right where the basket goes back towards the stands a little bit then continues back toward the foul pole...some ball hawk reached toward the field and brought the ball into the stands...if you watched the replay the ball most likely would have made it into the stands, but the umps ruled that since he reached along the basket and brought the ball back toward the stands it was interference and ruled a double.

    Heard a rumor this morning from some guy named Lovie saying that the trade between the Cubs and Orioles will only happen if some guy named Brett Favre were to retire. :^o

    As per Rotoworld: Coco Crisp is sitting out a second game Wednesday with a sore groin, but manager Terry Francona said he almost certainly would be playing were it the regular season. It's not very likely, but perhaps the Red Sox are holding him out because they're close to dealing him. The A's reportedly are still interested.

    According to Rotoworld: Brian Roberts-2B- Orioles Jan. 24 - 9:17 am et The Baltimore Sun's Jeff Zrebiec writes that the Cubs remain the most likely destination for Brian Roberts, but that Erik Bedard will likely end up in Seattle. The teams are reportedly discussing a deal that would send pitcher Sean Gallagher and an outfielder to Baltimore, whereas previous reports had the Orioles interested in Ronny Cedeno. The names that the teams have kicked around probably include Matt Murton, 2006 first-round pick Tyler Colvin, or even Felix Pie. Zrebiec also thinks that Bedard will likely end up in Seattle after a deal that centers around Adam Jones. To go from wanting at least three players down to a possible Gallagher + Colvin??? :-k
