As I said in the other thread, I'm going:

Bengals *barely* over the Jets

Philly over Dallas

Pats over Ravens

Packers over Cardinals.

I'm rooting for the Colts. I'm still pissed that they sat the starters, but I understand why they did it. Caldwell wants to win the SB and doesn't give a crap about being undefeated; fair enough. I just care about being entertained by great football and Painter... well... 'nuff said. With that in mind, I want to see the Ravens beat the Patriots and the Bengals beat the Jets. That sends the Bengals against the Chargers, which is a winnable game for the Bengals, I think; they certainly played a good game there last month.

In the NFC, I really don't want to see any of the teams do well. Obviously, as a Bears fan, I don't want to see the Vikings or Packers do anything. Likewise, the Eagles have beaten us too many times in the Playoffs for my liking, so they are right out. The Cowboys I simply hate. The Cardinals irritate me because they play in a crappy division. So that leaves the Saints to cheer for, by default.

probably biased predictions, but...

Ravens over Patriots

Bengals over Jets

Eagles over Cowboys

Cardinals over Packers

Bengals over Chargers(rocket deserves this)

Well, if we're taking it this far...

Packers over Cardinals

Saints over Eagles

Chargers over Patriots

Colts over Bengals

I'm not going to make any playoff predictions because I'll do something stupid like picking the Packers to go farther than they really will. I'll give the QB rankings a shot though.

Manning

Brady

Brees

Favre

Rodgers

Rivers

McNabb

Warner

Romo

Flacco

Palmer

Sanchez

4-6 are all very tight, then I think there's a small gap between sixth and seventh. 7-11 are all pretty interchangeable as well.

Am I the only one who thinks that the Cowboys are going to win this weekend?

I have a hard time picking the Eagles after last weekend.

I just get the feeling that there's going to be a Packers-Vikings playoff game and I don't think the Eagles are going to beat the Cowboys. The Chargers and Colts seem to easily be the best teams in the AFC, especially with Welker out and the Chargers have owned the Colts the last couple years.

The NFC title game and Super Bowl picks hinge partly on the fact that I would love to see the Packers beat the Vikings and then win the Super Bowl without Favre.

No, I picked the Eagles just because I thought everyone would write them off after last weekend, but there still seems to be people picking them. The Cowboys have the confidence, the home field, and a talented team so it's not insane at all for them to win. Despite what the Eagles showed last week, I think these teams are pretty close in talent level.

All of the ESPN guys except Jaws are picking the Cowboys which is pretty much the opposite of how they picked last week.

I'll admit I'm feeling pretty confident, but this is the NFL so I know that anything can happen. It's hard not to be excited though with the way the Cowboys have played over the past three weeks.

I'm excited but very cautious, starting to feel like a Cubs type team. Just need to figure out where to watch the game on Saturday, its going to be a great atmosphere everywhere.

Has anybody else noticed that the Packers have a chance to go 3-0 in Glendale this year (including preseason)? I wonder if anybody else has even had the opportunity to play 3 games in another teams stadium in one season, much less win them all. And to think the Cardinals are the defending NFC Champs.

Just get it done Pack!

Here's how I think the playoffs will play out.

Wild Card

Packers over Cardinals

Cowboys over Eagles

Jets over Bengals (Bengals are 3-4 in last 7, 3 wins against CLE, DET and KC)

Patriots over Ravens

Cowboys over Vikings

Packers over Saints

Chargers over Patriots

Colts over Jets

Packers over Cowboys (Hardest game to pick in the entire playoffs)

Colts over Chargers

Colts over Packers (Hope this is wrong)

Those are my predictions, don't ask me why I have the Jets going that far, just a feeling.

Unless the Bears are involved, I always hope to see teams in the Super Bowl that have either never been there or haven't been for a very long time.

So...

...Saints versus Jets*!

*Chargers or Bengals would be OK.

I think the Chargers are the best team in the Playoffs, but the run sets up very well for the Packers.

EDIT: Realized that I had listed the Jets and Ravens backwards in the DIV round.

You should get your ass to the stadium. I think there are some tix out there to be had.

the Chargers have owned the Colts the last couple years.

Keep in mind both of those games, I believe, have been in San Diego. This game would be in Indianapolis. In what's been pretty competitive games, that could slide the advantage toward the Colts.

Last year was SD, the year before was in Indy.

My picks:

Bengals over Jets – Cincy didn't show its gameplan, NY did. Cincy's better (slightly) and has the unknown gameplan on its side.

Patriots over Ravens – Strongly considered Baltimore here, but I think Belichick's coaching gets his team one win in the playoffs.

Packers over Cardinals – Arizona could easily win this, but is too inconsistent for me to pick them.

Eagles over Cowboys – I think Philly brings more pressure successfully against Romo and McNabb/Jackson have better games. Westbrook may also play a factor in this one.

Colts over Bengals – Benson keeps this game close, but Peyton is better than the Cincy DBs.

Chargers over Patriots – Could be a blowout. New England doesn't have the defense to slow down Rivers.

Eagles over Saints – I think McNabb will do well against Gregg Williams' exotic blitzes and the Eagles pull out a high-flying, narrow win.

Vikings over Packers – Too much pressure on Rodgers. The GB tackles are better, but still not to the point that the Packers can move the ball consistently enough.

Colts over Chargers – Great game but home field swings the very slight edge to Indy. If the Chargers run highly effectively, though, they could easily win. I think the Colts will slow the SD run just enough to win a minor shootout.

Vikings over Eagles – Again, Allen and the DLine brings too much pressure against somewhat shaky tackles. I do like DeSean Jackson against the Minny secondary, though.

Colts over Vikings – Could go either way, but at this point I think Favre is a bit fatigued and Peyton/Tom Moore have two weeks to figure out how to slow the Viking pressure. If he has the time, Peyton can dice up the Minnesota secondary. The key is having the time.

Ok, thanks. I forgot the first matchup was in Indy.

i have a good feeling the Bengals will convincingly beat the Jets

I just don't think they'll have the weapons to win convincingly with Ocho likely getting shut out by Revis again. Coles/Benson/Caldwell are nice weapons, but not explosive.
