For Packer fans:

 

The Packers have gone in search of help for their beleaguered offensive line and they’ve found a familiar face. Veteran Mark Tauscher worked out for the team today, and reports indicate he is likely to sign with the club at some point this week.

 

If Tauscher doesn’t replace Barbre immediately, he may do so at some point. One player Green Bay will have to replace is kick returner WIll Blackmon. He will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL.

 

Bring him and Levi Jones in. We need all of the help that we can get.

 

If Tausch is healthy, he's a gigantic improvement over Barbre. Clifton needs to get healthy so Colledge can move back to guard. He's atrocious as a left tackle.

 

I figured that news would excite some Packer fans. :D

 

It probably does, although I'm not sure why. There is a reason nobody signed Tauscher. Its kind of like the Bears after they let Fred Miller go, and then re-signed him when the season started last year. If I recall he played quite horribly.

True, but they need to try something. Desperate times = desperate moves.

 

It's been so bad, there's probably a decent chance he outplays what they have.

I suppose. Afterall their blocking can't get much worse. I don't really think Mark Tauscher is the answer to their problems though.

Overnight/really early this morning the 49ers signed Crabtree and the Browns traded Braylon to the Jets.

 

And Crabtree still didn't get as much or more than Darrius Heyward-Bey.

Yeah, Singletary seems like a guy who will play anyone if he thinks that player can help the team.

 

He also seems like the type of coach that if he senses a player is being shunned and that is hurting the team he will step in.

He's always been a good pass blocker. Run blocking, not so much anymore.

 

At the very worst, he's a better alternative than what we have.

How much did Crabtree lose by holding out this long (he did lose money right cause he will lose his first 4 game checks)?

The picture of Al Davis in the Raiders' logo reminds me a bit of Jack Nicholson.

 

That was the one that made me burst out laughing. I also like the Rams and Carolina.

The Vikings one is funny, because I don't think they did much to the face other than take off the yellow hair, put the gray hair and stubble on. The face is the same, and yet looks a lot like Favre, IMO.

 

But yeah, the Rams one is best.

 

No sure I get the Jets one. Just cuz they have improved defense I guess?
