Mike Singletary is going to be a really good coach. I really wanted him in Atlanta (twice). I was really sold on him when I saw that he made Vernon Davis a captain a few weeks ago.

 

Yea Im hoping he takes over for Lovie Smith whenever Lovie is fired/leaves.

 

I can't tell whether you guys don't like him or do like him.

 

Im not sure what the hard part is about figuring out how we feel about Singletary.

An ex-Bears LB is turning a garbage team into a division-title favorite. This is at least as difficult as a Sherlock Holmes novel to comprehend.

 

It would be the Vernon Davis comment that threw me off. Most people outside of the 49ers see it as a dumb move.

ESPN is reporting that Pennington is out for the year, let the Chad Henne era begin. This pretty much kills the Dolphins of getting to the playoffs, though they were probably already dead when they started 0-3. Hopefully Henne can develop into a decent starter, but with this receiving corps I'm doubtful that he'll turn this year around. If he gets injured too, full-time wildcat.

I got stuck doing the whole club level smoozfest work thing for the Rams/Packers game at the horrible Edward Jones Dome. It was a beautiful fall day, about 75 without a cloud in the sky yet I was stuck inside. At least the food and beer was included.

 

I had to laugh about how the place was about 1/4 Packers fans. Even funnier was watching some Packers fans who after the game acted like beating a horrible Rams team was equal to destroying the 2007 Patriots.
