Why does that coverage map not have the games separated by time they are played? They have a map that includes Saints and 49ers on it even though they play at separate times.

Because there's only one FOX game. You either get the early game or the late game, not both like with CBS.

I'm hoping for a second appearance of Breesus this week against the Eagles. Those 48 fantasy points from him were nice too.

I'm pretty sure the Eagles' D is a tad more lively than that bunch from Detroit you saw last week.

I still like MVBrees odds

I had Philly's D this week, and my opponent had Brees. He got 37 points out of Brees...I got 29 out of Philly's D. Should be a fun collision this week.

Over/Under installed at 4.5 on Jake Delhomme turnovers this week
Under, only because I'd expect him to be benched before having a chance to commit that many.

I can watch all of the games I'm interested in this week. Panthers early Sunday afternoon, Bears late afternoon, and Colts Monday night.

I haven't seen anywhere, but has Goodell issued a ruling on the Charles Grant and Will Smith's suspensions? I'm curious to what he'll do considering he's blocked from suspended the Williams wall by the court ruling.

Yep...no suspensions for any of the Starcaps folks until the Williams litigation is done. He doesn't want to suspend some guys for something other guys aren't getting suspended for.

Thanks. That's probably a fair approach.

The closer it gets to Sunday, the harder it is to contain my excitement of going to the Cowboys-Giants game.

I do have to sell that I'm sick on Monday, so I've been heard talking about my scratchy throat in the office.

I've decided I'm going to see the Packers in St. Louis next week. A couple of years ago the Packers fans literally outnumbered the Rams fans. It should be fun.

Good plan. We did the same for the Bears game last year. Rams "fans" didn't even show up and the Bears pounded them.

The Chargers are down to their last 36 hours to sell out this weekend's game, otherwise it will be blacked out. Last night's news had it at 2500 remaining tickets.

Those deadlines are anything but....they'll extend it 48 hours if need be. And in a market like SD, the local fox/cbs station will buy out the remaining tickets if necessary probably. That game won't get blacked out.

That stadium must be abominable. SD is a good team, with plenty of exciting players. They shouldn't even be having difficulty. SD is a reasonably sized market too.

How do they not know that you are going to the game or have season tickets?

Many of my co-workers know. I've kept that information from reaching the ears of the folks in the office. I'm trying to keep it that way.

I'm thinking about going there too. Tickets are pretty cheap on StubHub.

Make that 3. I was thinking about it the other day. I looked up tickets for the Viking-Packer monday night game. Cheapest tickets there? 144 dollars. Geez.

You definitely need to stay home on Monday. You don't want to pass that swine flu on to the students. :D

In a segment from the Week One game between Philadelphia and Carolina, during which Panthers receiver Steve Smith was wearing a microphone, a bizarre exchange unfolded between Smith and quarterback Jake Delhomme, who coughed up five turnovers in a 38-10 drubbing.

Delhomme, whose confidence clearly is shattered, apologizes to Smith while the duo are sitting on the bench.

Says Smith: "I never really liked you as a quarterback. But as a person . . . I love you as a person."

Joke? Weird joke to make to a struggling QB.

The Jaguars made it official today that their regular season home opener against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday will be blacked out on TV.

According to NFL policy, games are blacked out if all the non-premium tickets aren't sold 72 hours before the Sunday kickoff. Teams are allowed to ask for an extension if they're close to selling out, but the Jaguars did not request one.

Estimates are they're about 17,000 tickets short of a sellout but the team only said they have plenty of tickets available.

Between the Marlins and now the Jags, Florida needs to just have all their sports teams taken away from them.

Same prices as college tickets. Cheaper in some cases.
