Being it Pittsburgh and having watched these beyotches celebrate 2 rings, I think this is the most satisfying win since beating New Orleans to get to the Superbowl in 2006. And surprisingly its very close to the same feeling.

I'd put the Colts win last year right up there. And the defeat of GB late in the year last year is up there too. But still, a huge win.

haha

It's amazingly awesome that Cutler actually caught the helmet behind his back.

how can cutler take his helmet off on the field like that? smacks of favoritism

Didn't the ref knock it off?

Cutler had his helmet on the top of his head and the ref knocked it off. Time was called or the play was dead regardless.

no, the play was live, cutler and the ref were watching the clock rundown so they could call a timeout. it was favoritism and bs plain and simple

Is it still a penalty if the helmet isn't all the way off? Either way though, the refs blew plenty of calls in favor of Pittsburgh today, including Hillenmeyer being dragged to the ground on the Mendenhall run.

How does a quarterback, of all people, walk into that? You'd think pocket presence would translate better

Nice game Jay. No one picked the Bears. People were saying the season was over if the Bears lost. Now they are right back in the thick of things..

The Baltimore game has 7:00 left. Wow.

By people, you mean you right?

It looks like people went 85% for Pittsburgh on ESPN's pick em, and they were favored by 2.5 points

This is a great win by the Bears. I'm excited about the emergence of Johnny Knox as a receiver that Cutler feels comfortable throwing to. I thought the defense played well when they needed to late in the game. I've never been a huge Robbie Gould fan because of his inability to make 50+ field goals but he's so reliable from anything under 50.

I was referring to the "people saying the season was over if the Bears lost", not really the noone picked the Bears.

Great win today, defense looked pretty good really. Cutler looked fantastic, and Knox did too. My 1 very big concern coming from this game is Forte, and Turner forgetting the run game. Next week they play a Seattle team who gave up over 200 yards rushing to Frank Gore. If Forte doesnt get 20-25 carries, and have 100-120 yards, Im going to start getting worried about our run game.

me too, although it makes slightly more sense against the Steelers d. Agreed about next week. Time to get the run game going

Johnny Knox baby. And it wasnt just his catches he got a lot of looks from Cutler as well. Cutler looked really good today, he avoids the rush really well. Kellen Davis after that crappy drop in the first he made some solid catches and the td catch was pretty impressive too. Awesome win.

Anyone have the latest on Alex Brown? Anything more than a sprain would be put a serious damper on an otherwise good day.

No, but I am concerned as well.
