How do you swing at a first pitch breaking ball down and in after the pitcher walks a guy on 4 pitches to load the bases. Ridiculous approach by Fontenot. He should have made the pitcher throw a strike before swinging, unless it was a fastball right down the middle.

 

we do that a ton this year.

 

The other way to look at it is that the pitcher is struggling to throw strikes, and doesn't want to fall behind another batter so they may groove one over the plate so be agressive.
