wish I could watch with you guys, but living in Ohio means I get the Indians rain delay coverage instead

Why hasn't the game started, anyway? There hasn't been any rain as far south as Wrigley in half an hour, and there isn't any more on the radar

The field is a mess. The groundscrew are taking care of it as we speak.

So their rain delay programming would be the game where Willie Mays Hayes scored from 2nd on a bunt?

I wish. Instead, it's some slutty TV woman asking fans Indians trivia with cash prizes

Tarp is back on the field, expecting another short rain

So scratch the 2:45 start?

No, still hoping for that.

I live in southern evanston, and the rain is going north of me.

Ha, I'd forgotten Edmonds got thrown out there. Watching it just now I said "that was a bs call" and then that happened

Guys, I was at that game.

And I left after the 8th when it was 5-2. And then as I was walking to the train I heard the crowd make noise and checked my phone and it was 6-2. I let out a WTF? expressing surprise/disgust/excitement all at once when someone yelled out that they tied it 15-20 minutes later on the train. ](*,)

I at least made it home on time to watch the extra innings on TV.

Oh, I also left that Cardinal game in 03 where they were down like 8 runs right after JD Drew hit a grand slam.

Oh, and I left the Brewer game early at Milwaukee this year when they were down and Soriano homered.

We won this game on a walkoff single by Lee in the 12th scoring Marquis

I hate you, why even tell us? I was having fun not knowing how we won

I was at the second Bulls home playoff game this year and tried to get my friends to leave when the Bulls were down 3, right before Gordon hit the shot to tie it. The funny thing is, I'm the one who never gives up on a game early, but I so badly want to avoid the huge rush of people walking out (which sucks even more when my team loses) that I try to play my odds in those situations. I seem to lose every time, though.

Wicked storms today all over Chicago. I live in the NW burbs and there was a tornado sighted 2 miles from my house and golf ball sized hail. My street is flooded and one of our trees is split in half. With the amount of rain, I wouldn't be surprised if the called the game today due to poor field conditions. I guess that is what they paid The SodFather for though - improved drainage. We'll see I guess.

Oh, and I was at that game when the Bulls were down 3 vs Miami this year... we were leaving but decided to see what happens on the TVs as we're walking through the concourse... I see Gordon get fouled on the 3 and we run back to our aisle to watch the ending... Gordon hits all 3.. and then we steal the ball and call timeout... Thabo throws a terrible inbound pass and gets it stolen again and Wade finds Marion wide open for a dunk. Based on this one, I probably should keep leaving early. ](*,)

I do. I just hate walking in huge crowds while being pissed off about a loss, I guess.
