Good inning, but the word is its supposed to b another big storm around 3:30, se we'll see how far we get. With our luck, we'll drop 6 in the first 3 innings before the games called.

There's literally nothing on the radar for a hundred miles to the West of Chicago.

Yeah, but we have to watch for the stuff that just pops out of nowhere... supposed to be the issue for the rest of the day

Changeup = offspeed. Breaking ball is curve, slider, slurge, screwball,...

That's how I had it figured...

Five straight breaking balls to DeRo according to Hughes. Since when is Harden throwing a breaking ball?

I'm pretty sure a changeup is considered a "breaking ball"

I've only heard the term used in reference to curve/slider, usually.... And even so, why wouldn't he just say changeup then?

Not all changes are created equal. Some have more movement than others and could be considered breaking balls.

This is going to be a game that its hard to get mad at the Cubs offense,Cliff Lee has been pitching really well. Gotta try takin pitches and getting him out of the game kind of early.

Yeah...splitters sometimes are considered changes, etc. It really comes down to how a pitcher throws it and what type of movement is associated with that pitch.
