I really miss DeRosa.

Assume you saw that CSN interview

It sounds like he really misses Chicago too.

yeah, I love how honest he is.

"Do you still watch the Cubs?"

"Yeah, emotional win yesterday. Nice seeing D-Lee and Geo getting the big HRs."

F Jim Hendry. I know DeRosa isn't a Hall of Famer, but I don't care. He filled a very important role on the team both on the field and in the clubhouse. He really cared about what the Cubs were trying to do and appreciated the fans. Maybe if we weren't eating Chad Gaudin's few million and paying Aaron freaking Miles 5 million over 2 years, we could have had him this year.

Dang I'm getting the chills thinking about the ovation Kerry's going to get when he gets to the mound.

Hopefully its in a 10-0 game in the 9th inning just to get some work in.

Hopefully its in a 10-0 game in the 8th inning, because if he is getting work in a 10-0 game in the 9th, either he's pinch-hitting (not likely) or the Cubs are losing (likely).

#-o Its been a long 2 days sorry lol

Man watching this inning last year that theyre showing on CSN, last year had that feeling that we could come back from any deficit and the crowd as so much more into it..This year just doesnt have that feeling

The Jack Brickhouse program is pretty nifty. I was too young to have heard him, but I can see why he was such a great broadcaster.

Hard to believe we lost he and Harry in the same year.

I remember Chip announcing in the 9th inning of the 20 K game that Jack had called in and said that was the greatest game he had ever seen pitched.

Nope thank God. They were calling for it, but so far we have seen nothing since the other morning. Its just hotter than hell out right now, and the parents are still without power going on almost a full 36 hours now.

It will never get old watching the ball go through that douchebag Brauns legs lol.

What game are they showing since I don't get CSN all the way up here in Hickville, WI?

This game was during that stretch where I actually managed to get over my hatred for Jim Edmonds. I never thought he would do it, but he did it.

Geo was fat then, too.

GO!!!

The insane 2 out comeback in the 9th against the Brewers last year.

Yup this is where most Cubs fans accepted Edmonds.

Also, I just said the same thing about Soto, hes not bigger this year by much if at all.
