It's the 4th inning, why is the infield in?

Hey, Sutcliffe the Genius said it was the right thing to do so who are we to argue with it.

But yeah, I had the same thought as well.

I hate when the Cubs are in the inevitable slump that happens during the course of a baseball season.

Theres gonna be more than one, bubba

Seriously that may have been the dumbest move Lous made all year, and thats saying alot. The 4th [expletive] inning and our entire infield was pulled in. Lous panicking plain and simple.

Me thinks the Bobby Scales magic has run its course.

He's had two games without a hit.

You didn't really think he was going to get a hit in every game he played, did you?

If we are pulling the IF in, in the 4th effing inning. I fully expect every runner that reaches 1st/2nd the rest of the way out either attempt to steal or be sacrificed over.

It's pretty much telling your offense that you don't have faith in them to score a couple runs in the next five innings.

Home plate just seems so far away right now. The Cubs are going to need the Cards to make some errors and fast. Carpenter is on cruise control.

Well, good series, guys. On to San Diego.

We never seem to score on the west coast either. When do we play a team that will allow us to score again?

Exactly. Hell why not walk Duncan(who hits rightys very well) to face Nick [expletive] Stavinoah(whos a righty) and set up the double play? Plain [expletive] ignorance

Home vs Pittsburgh next week. We should be fine then. Write off the next five games though.
