I'm guessing Milton was handed his suspension today???

Nothing Ive heard yet, Im guessing hes just getting a day off after a night game last night.

With a suspension coming couldn't he play one more game. You know Watson is waiting for the Astros series to rule on the suspension.

Miles is fast becloming the new Todd Hollandsworth. When first signed, I thought it was a pretty decent move for the bench, but when he started to start regularly, I though enough is enough.

 

The difference is Hollandsworth OPSed .939 in 2004 for the Cubs before they started playing him regularly. Miles is OPSing .538 this year.

Has anyone heard anything about Dempster and his family health issues? I think I read (on BCB?) that Dempster's daughter has been in the ICU since her birth. I'm wondering if that hasn't affected him this year. I don't think I've seen that anywhere else before.

You know, I get pissed at Zambrano's antics at times, but I still admire the guy. He gets to remain a kid instead of growing up, and he has the ability to provide for many generations of his family to come.

i'm watching the phillies game, the one announcer was saying that there's a 3 way time in first in the NL central and then the cubs are a half game back, and sarge matthews says that nobody wants to win that division. four teams on pace to win 90+ games, yep nobody wants to win it.
