Well, I've never had a ''cold'' like this before, but more Cubs victories will certainly make me feel better... or at least won't make me feel any worse.

Adrian Gonzalez should see exactly zero hittable pitches today, if anyone on that team has any brains at all.

It would be nice if we could get Ascanio into the game today. Hes been here since Sunday, and it yet to see any game action. I know the games have been close, and there really hasnt been a spot to use him in, but he needs to be used. I just hope he doesnt struggle with command in his 1st outing, or else he will be Wuertzed.

I'm trying to figure out why we traded for Freel.

 

At the time, he seemed like a solid, veteran backup for Ramirez who can alos play 2B and the outfield. It sounded good to me at the time when I never anticipated him as our starting third baseman for the next 2 months.

Lou needs to get over his obcession with Aaron Miles. Play Freel in place of Miles whenever you get the chance. Glad to see Lee not in the lineup, and Im pretty shocked to see Soto in there with it being a day game after a night game. Im guessing Lou is hoping hes getting hot, and doesnt want to take him out right now.

Why has there not been a single game this series on WGN?

This. I'm pissed because they always seem to show most of the Astros games on WGN. Thanks, but I can get every one of their stupid games here in Texas. Show some other teams, please.
