Mizzou completely dismantled Oregon, leading by as much as 30 in the first half and winning 106-69. Great to get a win over a BCS school after the two losses, even if it's a middle of the pack Oregon in a really down Pac-10.

Is Oregon middle of the pack? They're terrible.

Is it possible for the Pac-10 to go winless in the Big XII-Pac-10 Challenge? I guess WSU should beat Kansas State but that's about it.

Hahahaha... what happened? Kansas State is GOOD. Sorry to ruin your prediction. KSU WILL be top 25, maybe top 15 at the end of the year. Book it.

They were last year, but they brought about everyone back and were picked to be middle of the pack in the preseason, which was most of what I was going off of for that statement.

Kansas St. lost to Ole Miss and is still coached by Frank Martin.

You mean Frank Martin, who has led them to 3rd in the Big 12 in 07-08, and 4th last year? You mean Frank Martin who has a 50-25 (.666) career record as a head coach? Yeah, he's horrible. Also, Ole Miss is getting 27 votes in the coaches poll and is #25 in the AP. KSU has beaten Dayton and Wazzu, plays Xavier tonight and UNLV on Saturday. Hell, Louisville lost to Charlotte this year. What's your point on Ole Miss?

You say 4th last year, others say 7th.

Or a 4 way tie for 4th.....

Stat that probably only interests me: Michigan State freshman Derrick Nix is currently shooting 5% on his free throws for the year (1 for 20).

My point is, Ole Miss isn't very good at basketball and Frank Martin is a boob.

How is that even possible?

So how bad is Pitt going to beat Indiana tonight?

Pitt's not too good. They should beat you, but it won't be a blow out.

Interesting. I did see that their last game was a real high scoring shootout.....47-32 with a 15-7 halftime score. \:D/

I have no expectations so I will just watch the game and hope for the best.

I don't envision Indiana beating Pitt, but this isn't a vintage Pitt team of recent years. They're replacing nearly everyone from last year, plus they have battled injuries to the few returning players (though Jermaine Dixon may return tonight). They led New Hampshire this weekend at halftime 15-7 -- seriously. They'll likely end up being too physical, too tough defensively and too well-coached for Indiana though. I'd be very disappointed if the game is truly a blowout.

Yeah, I think Pitt will be too physical and will likely dominate the boards.

I can't find video of him shooting FTs, but it's not even one bad game or anything. Each game it's been 0 for 2, or 0 for 4. At some point, you wonder if teams are just going to put him on the line every time he gets near the basket.

At that rate you would be better off having one scrub in at all times fouling him as soon as you can when they have the ball and just allowing him to shoot 2 free throws every possession (yes I realize that this isn't actually a good idea).
