Courtesy of illiniguy- I don't think he meant that as it came out though. I think he meant that he would rather not lose other great players because you are concentrating so much on an elite player that you don't have a great chance to land. If that's the case I agree. It hurt us a lot a few years ago. We could have possibly had E'Twaun Moore had we not been waiting around on Eric Gordon. But, yeah you cannot just take kids who commit right away. Or else you will end up with a bunch of mid major kids who were blown away by an Illinois offer.

 

This is what I was getting at with my earlier post regarding Beal.

In the land of teams playing garbage OOC games, Luke Harangody became the first ND player ever with 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in his career tonight, passing Troy Murphy on the ND scoring list while he was at it. ND beat Idaho State in a more-lopsided-than-it-looked 80-70 game (were up 20 with 2 mins left).

[expletive]. We finally hit our shots and we lose because our freaking transition d was terrible and we gave up too many offensive boards. Didn't help that we got bent over at home a few times in critical situations.

 

That sucks. The ACC is gonna end up scumming this thing out 6-5 again.

I like Minnesota, OSU, Michigan, and Duke tonight.

 

Illinois I think is going to win, but there are people who believe I'm a slight homer.

I actually have a good feeling about it too. This had to be an awful week for them practice wise.

wow that was one of the worst charge calls I have ever seen and it takes our best player out of the game.

The refs have been brutal thus far.

 

how did the clemson player jump and come down with the ball with out a jump ball?

My favorite was the over the back right in front of the bottom official that got no looked.

Michigan getting a beating from BC so far. They have looked absolutely pathetic so far this season.
