Pavano is pitching for the Indians, so we will need 10-11 if we want to win. :(

Your team is playing in Yankee Stadium against Yankee batting practice. They can do it.

Hah. I suppose. Two more HR through 3 innings. Man, the ball really flies out of there. And Pavano is perfect through 3 so far. 3-0 tribe. :)

Geez, freaking review the HR call already, umps.

How can the umpires possibly believe that was not fan interference? When a fan knocks down the players glove, that is the very definition of fan interference. What a joke, the umps get it wrong in real time and still get it wrong after a replay. That's a case of pride getting in the way of reality.

So MLB puts in instant replay so we can make sure the umpires can get the calls right, and yet these arrogant bastards still cant get the call right. What a freaking joke, if Im Eric Wedge Im playing this game under protest.

I'd have to assume they ruled his glove was above the fence. I think it was close, but I thought the fan's glove broke the plain of the fence.

Perhaps, but that doesn't matter when the Indian's outfielder made contact with the fan's glove before the ball got to that point. The fan kept the outfielder's glove from getting to the height where he had a play on the ball.

The fan's glove was clearly in play at some point, but I'm not 100% certain that the glove-glove contact happened while the fan glove was in play. Again, I think it was fan interference, but I could see how it could be viewed otherwise.

Marlins are 11-1.

How fitting would it be if the Marlins, Dodgers, Diamondbacks, and Cubs made the playoffs this year? In order for the Cubs to overcome their curse, they would need to overcome their personal nightmares.

No Padres?

Those are just recent nightmares.

It would also require the wildcard to come out of the west. I'm not saying that's not possible, but I will gave anyone 5-1 odds who wants to be on that happening.
