I know that... and I've also seen frustrations show after a shellacking in the playoffs when your season is finally going to be over.

It wasn't the playoffs, but a few years back, the Blues were a lock for the worst record in the league and at the end of the last game of the season against the Wings, they just started throwing down on everyone. It was classless and pointless, but it happened.

Remember when Dale Hunter destroyed Pierre Turgeon after Turgeon scored the game winner, in what I think was a game 7? He got suspended 21 games, but it probably should have been more.

Because it COULD have happened, but it didn't... game was boring, it's over... wish something would have happened to spice it up.

I'm slowly but surely coming to the realization that Hockey is not completely and utterly worthless. I've actually been looking forward to the Canes game tonight all day (though it seems like they would be a longshot to pull it off now). Next year I'll try to make a conscious effort to somewhat follow the sport. I'll still probably ignore most of the regular season - just like with NBA. Still, I'm head and shoulders more interested in the sport this year than ever before.

 

Anyways, good luck to your Blackhawks and hopefully the Canes will meet them in the Finals!
