Haha, the Bulls just grabbed two more Tyrus Thomas' tonight.

Either him or Deng have to be moved.

I would've rather had Blair but Gibson's not bad.

Even if he is moved you just grabbed two of the same dude to replace him.

It's really not much different than the T'Wolves PG's.

Is there any possibility Blair could fall to 35? Joe needs to package two 2nds and something to grab him.

I don't see Blair getting by LA. I think he goes to MEM or LA, I think CLE goes with Meeks, Douglas, Ellington or Young.

The Lakers sold their pick to the Knicks.

Seriously, Gibson over Blair? Did Blair have a leg amputated or something?

Blair's knees are extremely worrisome. The guy's knees actually have no acls.

Yeah and he dominated in college on a historic level without them.

That's right, why does it say LAL though? Is it still technically LA's pick? But NY will just tell them who to take?

It's not as if the Bulls are the only one passing on him. It seems to be the consensus that his knees are in really bad shape.

I can say that I've seen Gibson play more than any other player in this draft.

Pros: Shot blocking, decent traditional post up game, can knock down the face up jumper, and he'll mix it up down low.

Cons: Lacks strength and is definitely a hard gainer. He was a beanpole coming into SC and he didn't put much muscle on. I doubt he'll be able to establish position in the pros.

I think he has a shot at being in a rotation but shot blocking is the only skill he has that you would consider in the very good to elite category of the draft. My issue is that shot blocking wasn't a problem for this team, it was beef and defensive rebounding.

Arthritis isn't something that goes away. It gets worse as you age. It also gets substantially worse when you put a lot of strain on the affected area. 82 games a season running up and down a hardwood court would definitely qualify in that category.

Blair's a great talent, but bad knees on a big in basketball? Yikes.

I'm curious if teams simply don't want to give Blair guaranteed money.

Contracts are only fully guaranteed 2 years now right?

I understand the knees are a concern but the dude was an absolute monster with the same issues in college. He'll be fine for the first handful of years of his career.

I hate you. I hate Hansbrough. I hate the Pacers. I hate everyone.

I joked around with a co-worker yesterday "Oh yeah just wait Bird will draft Hansbrough hahahaha".

I hate being right. I was kinda hoping for Lawson myself. Oh well.

You know who else everyone was freaking out about with bad knees and possible arthritis causing a drop?

Danny Granger

I think Stu Scott is under orders from the NBA to hype up the struggling mid-market teams at all costs. However, begging your broadcast partners to acknowledge a .500 season as exciting is kind of sad.

It's official, Minnesota to run NBA's first 5-guard offense, where everyone brings the ball up the court.

Blair is heavier than Granger and will play a position that will cause him to incur much more contact than Granger.
