This Minnesota game is so frustrating to watch. Pittman gets away with murder in the paint, and the guy guarding Abrams refuses to play him tight. Apparently, Abrams takes the ball to the hoop all of a sudden. All he does is shoot jumpers, get in his damn face.

 

Or not.

tonight could continue my annual tradition of ripping up my bracket before the second round starts, since villanova (one of my final four teams) doesn't want to play

 

to be fair my bracket wasnt ALL that serious, and i'm rooting for american

 

they're in my elite 8, come on give me a break here

Villanova was my runner-up, so I start rooting for upset pandemonium if this happens(I still mostly want American to win). Thankfully my school can't be eliminated today.

 

Missouri can find a way.

 

You might want to save that anger up in case U of I goes 26 minutes without a field goal again. Especially since Kansas will only be around one game for you to make fun of.

i never understood why teams couldn't do this. when i played good shooters in pickup games i would just ignore everyone else on the court and face guard the guy so that he couldn't get a decent shot off. yeah, it wore me out and i didn't do anything on offense, but i neutralized a good scorer. there are so many guys in the ncaa who can do nothing but stand around and fire up threes. just stick a guy on them who's willing to run and get in his face.

Enberg just said George Mason came out of the Patriot League? I think he's thinking of Bucknell.

 

yeah bucknell won ONE game two years in a row. the patriot league has never made it past the round of 32.

 

maybe he's confused because george mason was a patriot or something.

Didn't Holy Cross almost win as the 16 seed against Kansas a few years back?

 

yeah we were ahead with less than 10 minutes to go. we also barely lost to kentucky in 2001 and then were tied with marquette with less than 2 minutes to go in dwyane wade's senior year. but travis diener had the game of his life.

 

i don't want to talk about this any more.

Clemson making a huge run late. They've cut the Michigan lead to 6 and they have the ball with 3:20 left. Come on you morons.

Michigan went from a 15 point lead to a 6 point lead (and clemson ball) in about 2:30 because they are jacking up 3's with 25 seconds left on the shot clock...like 3-4 possessions in a row. Seriously where is the coaching and execution??

yeah at this point they should be running the shot clock down under 10 before throwing up a brick from downtown
