Not a very good start for Cutler in Chicago, making alot of terrible passes. But its only pre season.

Rodgers hits Driver for a 53 yard bomb for a TD.

Packers defense didn't look all that bad, couple really nice passes by Quinn. Im so pumped to have football back.

Can't really take anything away from this defensively, though. Like 7 of our guys that are supposed to be starting on opening day aren't playing tonight.

Very true. Im mostly just watching Kamp to see how he does.

I'm predicting a biiiig year for Rodgers. Pro bowl, even.

I remember when Brohm was being talked about as a possible high pick in the draft. I think it was well before the actual draft happened though.

Yea before the combine and workouts, he was considered a first-round pick. I wanted him over Ryan and later wanted to take Dorsey and then Brohm in the second.

The year before that draft, people were saying Brohm could've been the #1 pick in the draft. Yeah, that's not happening.

When you go 3/10 with 2 picks and 18 yards against mainly third stringers, you should begin to figure out a different profession. That was really the only negative I had though. The first string offense was on target and the defense did look pretty good even though seven key guys weren't dressed.

When he was at Louisville I really thought Brohm had the potential to be a good NFL QB. It's just so hard to evaluate QB's, especially in some offenses.

And I really hate how impressed I've been of Rodgers.

If Rodgers and Cutler play up to their potential the Bears/Packesr rivalry could reach epic levels.

Vince Young: 9-14, 131 yds, 1:0 TD:INT

I like that.

That was his thing in college too, his learning curve is very quick but you have to stick with him. I mean half way through his soph. season there was still talk about moving him out to WR.

Yeah, he either has trouble conveying sincerity, or he's just going through the motions.

Going through the motions for 200, Alex.

Yeah, I wasn't sure he'd make a good QB until late in his junior year. The best thing possible for him would have been the Titans keeping Steve McNair for a couple years after drafting Vince and let VY sit on the bench for a couple years before starting (like they did with McNair in the 90s).

I'm an admitted Vince Young fan, but I still think he can develop into a good to very good NFL QB given a little more time.

I think that's a false hope.

We'll see. I think a lot of the stuff around Vince has been overblown. The talent is there, it's just a matter of consistency and confidence.

Having 3 different OC's in 3 years hasn't helped him at all either. But he is not a guy that could go to any team in the NFL and make them better at QB. He needs the right coach and system.

He's actually had two OCs in three years - Norm Chow for two years and Mike Heimerdinger last year. Vince is definitely a guy who needs the right coaching and system, but I still don't think him developing into a Steve McNair type QB is out of the question.

That what I was thinking, did Norm Chow change up his system his 2nd year. I don't know why I have the number 3 stuck in my head with this.

I think he might have tweaked it a bit, but nothing dramatic. The thing I like about Heimerdinger is that he was able to turn Steve McNair from a game manager QB to one of the better QBs in the league. Vince is similar in many ways to McNair (strong arms, iffy accuracy, worse decision making than McNair, mobile but the desire to be a pocket passer).

With Chow, he seemed to try to turn Vince (with VY's approval) into too much of a pocket passer. One of the first things Heimerdinger began to teach Vince was to use his athleticism to his advantage.

This is beyond ridiculous. Im to the point I hope he comes back and is brutal, or he comes back and gets hurt in his 1st game, knocking him out for the year. Get over yourself

I predicted he'd be back after two-a-days ended. Maybe it will be a little later, but I still think he'll be there sometime this season.

Just when we all though Brett Favre was done and calling it quits for good

LOL, speak for yourself, AC.
