There was a sketchy replay call before both the fumble scores by Buffalo - on one, MiQuale Lewis got a foot inside the pylon but didn't get the TD even after review, and on the other, Briggs Orsbon caught a pass but had it overturned on no evidence that I can see - but that's no excuse. Credit Buffalo, they didn't let us get away with those mistakes.

That looked like a TD to me.

And me. And the announcers. And since the original call was a touchdown they had no right to overturn it unless there was indisputable evidence that it was not a touchdown. And on the other play one angle made it look like the ball might have touched the ground before the receiver had control, but I didn't think it came close to being indisputable evidence to overturn the call. The officials stole one touchdown, and possibly another, from Ball State.

I hate zebras.

the original call on the first replay was that he was out at the 1/2 yard line, not that it was a TD. His foot was inside the pylon, but there was a question over whether the ball crossed. Could've gone either way.

I think they blew the second call though

i kind of want mizzou to win so texas will be forced to defend why they get to go to the nat'l championship over texas tech when they have the same number of losses and tech won head to head...the same scenario texas has been bitching about all week with respect to ou.

I wish the Rebs would get to play Texas in the Cotton Bowl, but it looks like the Cotton Bowl will be Ole Miss vs. Texas Tech. That'll be a high scoring affair I'd think and more winnable from my point of view than if we had to play Texas.

has Army had camo helmets all year?

I'm pretty sure it's just for this game. I like the look (pant and numbers are camo too) at least for this one game. Also like that instead of their names on the jersey it says, "Duty. Honor. Country"

I think it's beyond doubt that the service academies have the worst looking cheerleaders...

can 4'9", 90 lb. girls even qualify for a military academy?

Did RedFlash ever accept my bet? If not, damn.

Anyways, Percy Harvin's expected to be a no-go this afternoon. The rushing attack shouldn't miss a beat. The fourth option, Emmanuel Moody is seventh in the nation in yards per carry....and that's fourth on his team as three of the six ahead of them are Rainey, Demps and Harvin.

Harvin will be missed a bit more in the passing game though. There's no shortage of talent on the edge. They can utilize Demps and Rainey out there if need be, but they've got a talented stable of receivers, if they haven't contributed yet. Florida's been much like 2003-05 USC as far as stockpiling skill players. Deonte Thompson, Louis Murphy and White Boy Cooper can fly and will be enough. There are a ton of other talented guys on the roster. I really doubt that the offense misses much without him.

These Army and Navy uniforms are awful.

I actually like the Army uniforms.

Don't know if they'd be good for an entire season, but using them in certain situations (like UGA's blackout jerseys or UT's all-orange) is a good idea.
