I really can't believe you're trying to justify Light throwing multiple punches at a guy. Light should absolutely be suspended for that.

The NFL's last fight took place in the Jacksonville-Cincinnati game Nov. 2 when Jaguars defensive tackle John Henderson and Bengals guard Andrew Whitworth exchanged punches after Henderson knocked off Whitworth's helmet, then appeared to try to gouge his eyes.

Both were fined $10,000 but weren't suspended. Henderson got an additional $5,000 fine for illegal hands to the face.

if there's no suspension in that case, there certainly shouldn't be one in this case either.

The Chargers lead the NFL ins hilarious ways to lose a football game.

And somewhere, off in the distance, Marty is laughing.

they weren't exchanging punches though; Light was grabbing Crowder by his dreads and giving his head the Lesnar special, all the while Crowder did nothing

Rewatch the play. Crowder was coming in on a blitz, Light picked him up but something happened and they both ended up slipping down. As they get up they both throw punches and it is at that point that Crowder gets his helmet knocked off. The referees did a quick investigation and both players were ejected so I doubt either was innocent.

EDIT: Here is a quote from the Sun-Sentinel about the incident:

The fourth-quarter confrontation started as a shoving match. Crowder pushed at Light's helmet with both his hands and Light responded by snatching Crowder's helmet off his head.

Crowder started that fight, I've got no problem with what Light did.

Pretty excited for the Green Bay/Saints game tonight. Big game for both teams. Green Bay if they don't win will be at leat a game back going into week 14. And if the Saints don't win, they are win a lot of trouble.

My man crush (not named Brett Favre obviously) Drew Brees v. My team. Obviously the Saints are going to pass alot but the Packers have a really good secondary. Its going to be interesting to see if Brees throws on Harris and or Woodson. Im thinking he will, which will the the game even more fun. Hopefully we run the ball alot like against Chicago to keep Brees off the field.

Game starts at 7:30. Im a basketball coach for my local high school and see my practice schedule is 5:30-9. ](*,)

Anyways should be a good game, and BRING IT OleMissCub :-))

The Saints have an actual home game tonight for the first time since October 12, which would make a total of 6 weeks.

That's not the kind of thing that should be allowed with the NFL scheduling.

According to this they hosted the Chargers on October 26th.

In London, though. They haven't played at the Superdome in 6 weeks.

](*,) My bad: you're right.

Very stupid. The NFL owes the Saints a couple times over for that one.

Not really, the team signed up for the opportunity. You can make a case that the NFL and Saints owe the New Orleans fans, but that's about it.

Pretty big that Reggie Bush is going to be out. One less element to worry about...hopefully.

We need this game badly.

It's huge, IMO. I think it's the difference. Pack win 27-20. We'll see how wrong I am about this one since I'm on a bad streak lately.

No resident Packer fans in here talking about the game?

weak.

In honor of our amazing pass defense that I've heard about so much this season, I've decided I'm going to post just like they're playing tonight.

Congrats on the division, Bears/Vikings. We're just too inconsistent this year.

What a dumb play call. Sometimes Payton out thinks himself.

If the Pack scores here they're right back in it. Why give them the opportunity?

Why do these teams even have defenses?

To intercept Aaron Rodgers.

Not A Rodg's fault.

Also, Drew Brees is a freaking Machine right now.

The Packer season is not over, but its on life support.

As I said before, the packers may not be very good, but they don't need to be to win the division. The Bears certainly aren't, and the Vikings don't seem to be either.

By the way, nice pass defense while I was typing this

None of the 3 teams are really very good.

This is embarrassing to watch for Packer fans though.

Well, the Saints would probably win the NFC North
