I'm sorry we're going to lose this game, but maybe now at least we can dispense with the fantasy that we're a good team and start talking about what needs to be done to improve.

Oddly enough, if Minnesota loses today, three teams will be tied for first (and third) in the NFCN at 5-5.

mccarthy wants to embarass us, not that we already aren't.

could something go right for any one of my teams. first the cubs, then the bears, then the illini. the bulls always suck.

What did you whine about in the 90s with the Bulls and the 1986 Bears?

I've decided to start looking towards '09 NFL draft.

Michael Johnson come on down!

I prefer Brian Orakpo amongst defensive ends.

I also agree, pull Orton. This game is out of reach and he's going to re-aggravate his injury with this offensive line.

If Orapko is there I agree, but more than likely the Bears will draft 12-16 and at this point, I don't see Orapko falling.

I've seen Johnson go before 12-16 too (though given his play this season, he doesn't deserve to).

But I think the Bears will go DE in the first round...I don't mind but I would love to see them go OL.

If it were up to me, I'd cut T. Harris and draft a fat DT along side Dusty and Harrison, but the Bears won't do so.

I'd probably go OLB with probably Aaron Curry, Maualuga for ILB shifting Urlacher to OLB, Cushing from USC as well etc. but I agree that the Bears will do DE and cut Wale.

Personally I can't wait to see what Tommie Harris has to say after this debacle.

He will cry and whine, or praise jesus, or say just somethign stupid. What a waste of money that turd was.

I have his jersey. :(

I have no problem with going DE and cutting Wale, I'd rather not pour even more money into the linebackers. I'd give Harris one more year.

I really don't think Minny is that great either. But -- we could very well go up there and get dismantled by Peterson. If we do, then there won't be much doubt that we're the 3rd place team in the division.

the bears were a million years ago and the bulls have more than made up for their winning in the 90's. i need to do some research and i'll attach it to my sig, the overall record of my teams in my lifetime.

Good I hope McCarthy piles it on us. This team and coaching staff needs to be embarrassed, because Im embarrassed to be a fan after their pathetic ass showing today.

I think that's the case for most people who root for multiple teams. Especially when their baseball team is the least successful one (since there is a disparity in the number of games played).

You've got 7 championships in your lifetime. Not too shabby.

I don't see Harris getting healthy to the point where he was two years ago before the injuries and with that contract, they have to be proactive as far as unloading Harris and Wale, depending on the cap hit.

I'm trying to remember, but wasn't there a season @ Miami where Devin just completely disappeared as well?

I think we need to decide whether this guy is going to be our returner, or our receiver. Not both.

this is what happens when you ignore one side of the ball in the draft year after year. if you have a playmaker, you trya nd make him a playmaker in areas he isnt accustomed to

devin needs to focus on returning

Well, we beat the Pack 26-0 once. Now they pay us back 27-3.

Hey, we're still ahead in point differential between those two games!!!! Whoo!

Wale wont have a cap hit, he will actually make more salary next year than what the hit will be. harris on the other hand would be an extraordinary amount of hit.
