I doubt he's really nonchalant; he's just a master of coachspeak.

 

The Bears are learning a harsh lesson about the NFL: If you want to have a consistently elite defense, you must draft great defensive players *every single year*. The attrition rate is so high that you can't fall in love with the ones you have and sign them long-term.

Eh, I'm not so sure it's merely coachspeak now. There are plenty of things he could have said that would have been coachspeak, but still better than those comments.

I still don't think Lovie should be shown the door yet, but there's no question the more authority we have given him, the worse his team has performed.
