Skimming through the pages, it looks like we're not too worried about Z?

How long does a calf strain keep someone out? Derosa will be fine if he gets a week off right?

Zambrano's line is pretty decieiving. He really didn't look that bad. Velocity was good, movement was good, and the location actually wasn't terrible. He was just barely missing and was not getting help from an atrocious umpire. He could very easily have only given up 1 or no runs.

Keep the pedal to the metal boys! I love that they keep playing hard even though they aren't playing for anything. Who cares who we play, keep winning!

Mets and Phils tied for the East now?

how would that happen? the mets just lost

mets and brewers tied, though, i think

Win #96. For some reason, knowing that you will finish at least 30 games over .500 means something to me. Probably because I have only seen that threshold crossed in one other season over 20 years ago.

That's got to be the textbook definition of a crushing loss. It will be fun to hand a couple to the Brewers over the weekend. Edited by ToupeeOnFire

Nice win.

I feel sorry for Met fans though. For two straight years, their heart gets ripped out. They thought they solved it by getting Johan and then later canning Willie Randolph, but nope, same old same old.

Yeah, my bad. Brewers and Mets are indeed tied for the WC.

Thanks.

Anyone have any idea about DeRo?

Not too serious? Or are we concerned?

I think the WC is going down to at least Brewers vs Mets in a tie breaker but just for the sake of fun baseball I would love to see the Brewers-Phillies-Mets tie.
