After watching Philly's D rip Roethlisberger a new one, I fear for Orton's life on Sunday.

we didn't blitz dallas nearly enough in the mnf game... maybe they've realized that with a ridiculous cornerback corps (asante samuel, sheldon brown, lito sheppard) plus brian dawkins, they can blitz a lot and not get in big trouble if it's picked up every now and then. i hope that's true, because jim johnson has some hilarious blitz packages. there are some where you'd swear that people are running out of the stands to take a shot at the qb.

btw go eagles. (this ends my participation in this thread)

I don't know if this was mentioned, but Brian Westbrook is likely out this week.

I don't think that will be that big of a deal for them for this week. For the whole season could be a big problem

still pretty demoralized after the last two weeks. i'm not looking forward to this one, but having Westbrook out would help a bit. i'm actually more concerned about his pass catching than his running.

Two things the Bears have typically struggled against. Small, quick WRs and mobile QBs. If they can't get a pass rush, Tillman, Manning, and Vasher won't be able to stay with the Philly WRs.

Really? Who? McNabb beat them way back when, but that was a different team. They've been shredded by Delhomme and Griese late in games this year, not exactly mobile QBs. Eli, Peyton, Todd Collins, Kitna, and Romo are guys that hurt them in the recent past. Romo is the closest thing to a mobile guy there, and he beat them through the air. I don't think mobile QBs are that much of a problem for them.

Absolutely unbelievable that Bradley couldn't find his way on this team given his skillset.

and given the players in front of him.

The beat writers hate him, and their number 1 complaint are the injuries. Unless they are insinuating he's faked all them, I don't get the complaint. The guy got hurt, it happens. But when he's been healthy enough to play he's never played. They pick on the lack of receptions, as if he was a baseball player with 600 PA in a season and only 5 HR. It's football, if you don't get on the field, have a play called in your direction, have the line block well enough and have the QB throw the ball to you, you aren't going to get receptions.

I have a bad feeling he's going to find success on another team.

Man, how good would the Bears look had they simply been able to hold two 17-point leads against Carolina and Tampa? Both those teams are now 3-1, and arguably the best teams in the NFC outside the East.
