Tennessee at (15) Auburn (3:30 pm, CBS)

The only reason I think this'll be a game is that we have a good defense and there's still a chance Auburn can't run the spread offense. It looks like they started figuring things out against LSU, which means UT will likely be destroyed.

Oh well... Maybe Jonathon Crompton will learn how to play the quarterback position before Saturday.

Lot of good games this week. I'll be interested to see what Illinois can do against Penn State. Everyone knows PSU hasn't played a real team yet, but they've absolutely obliterated all the teams they've played so far while Illinois looked real bad against LA-Lafayette. I'm expecting a close game...I hope.

SIU-UNI should be the I-AA game of the week. If we lose, we'll be staring 1-3 in the face as we face North Dakota State on the road the following week. Teams with 4 losses don't get in the I-AA playoffs, so this is as much of a must win game as it gets for a game on September 27.

I'll be down in Muncie for my first homecoming as a Ball State alum. A 5-0 start should be a given, but it should be interesting to see how BSU fares in their first game without #86, who suffered a career-ending, but luckily not otherwise damaging, cervical spinal fracture at IU last Saturday.

Purdue/ND should not be very interesting at all. The Brady Quinn days seem like a decade ago when I watch the Irish play offense. Should manage more points against Purdue, though.

I think most would agree that most intriguing matchup this weekend will be the Alabama/GA game...Alabama is looking to put a crick in GA National Title hopes, plus add credibilty they are legit. GA is looking to prove they are a legit NT contender, considering they haven't done so yet this yr. So be a fun, hard nose game, SEC football at it's finest.

Think it will be a decently close game. But like Missouri, Penn State can score and Illinois cant play defense.

I realize how down Michigan is this year but still feels like this is a huge trap game at their place before playing OSU and PSU in the next 2 weeks.

The Badgers hopefully made plenty of their off week.

Eh I don't think you should worry....There bad this year and Wisconsin is a much much better team. Especially in a big Big Ten game I wouldn't think Wisconsin would think it was a push over game.

In this statement lays the trap. Michigan isnt bad. They are inexperienced and mistake prone. Wisconsin should win, but I would venture to say this about all of the Big Ten teams. None of them are good enough to just overlook Michigan.

Michigan has a drastically new offensive system and Rodriguez doesn't have the players to run it. I'm pretty sure they are no better than a .500 team in conference

That's true, but Wisconsin is the opposite. So knowing that they wont make those mistake I assume that Wisconsin shouldn't have a problem.

Hahah. We've got Nebraska next week. OSU comes to town the week after.

Oops.

Give them a nice welcome anyway.

Notre Dame's tight end Will Yeatman went ahead and got arrested for driving a golf cart around while drunk after a post-MSU party (not much to party about, if you ask me), which after Mike Ragone already tore his leg up, leaves Notre Dame with two tight ends, both true freshmen, for the foreseeable future. Weis has said Yeatman won't play again until his legal issue is resolved which will probably be a few games at least.

Wonderful.

if it makes you feel better, your offense sucked anyway.

Any NW fans on here? Are you guys any good? All I know is a close game against Ohio and Duke so I assume their not. I just hope Ferentz and the coaching staff figure out how to coach a football game.
