Listening to some of yesterday' broadcast - didn't get a chance to yesterday - Wuertz, not exactly endearing himself to Lou is he? Can't make the play on sacrifice bunt he fielded?

It would be nice to at least get to 97...but I'd settle for 93 if it meant 11 more coming in the postseason.

doesn't really matter to me. Just win enough to make the playoffs.

Hoping both the Cubs and the Brewers do the same thing on Friday so the Cubs can clinch with a win on FOX on Saturday.

+1

-1 I want to celebrate in Wrigleyville tonight, plus half the Cubs fans out there won't be able to see them clinch if its on FOX with the blackouts

Today is not on WGN and is in the middle of a work day, so I would think even less will be able to watch the game today. Plus, I would like to see the Cubs clinch on the field. Not sitting at home waiting to see what the Brewers do.

For me the sooner we clinch the better.

I want to see the Cubs clinch with a win and not with a Brewers loss.

Corey Provis (sp?) just said that Soto is a late scratch from today's game with soreness in his left hand. x-rays were negative, just some inflamation. Soto is day-to-day. Hank is playing today.

Give him the same shot that Z got...

I don't think the world is ready to see a 6 HR game...

Can someone check the start before Carlos' no hitter and see how many outs he got before the end of the game without a hit, pretty please?

After giving up a one-out, two-run single to Tejada in the 5th, he retired the next two batters before leaving the game with elbow soreness.

Alright, thank you very much.

29 outs without a hit, or... 9 2/3 Hit less innings... anyone know the record?

Johnny Van Der Meer pitched back to back no hitters, so its at least 54 outs and probably at least 55 because I doubt he got taken out in the middle of an inning the start before his first no no.

Anybody know if that justin.tv page will carry this game? I'm at work and they won't let me download the plugin to watch my mlb.tv

ETA: Or any other advice or loopholes for getting mlb.tv while using a mac?

Yeah, effing mlb.tv blackout. It's Pat and Ron for me today.

Let's win and put the pressure on MIL. If they win tonight, that's fine.
