Houston worries me, but I think we're solidly a better team.

Kerry needs to just stay conservative and look for CJ, Alge and Scaife in the short passing game. I'm expecting good games from both CJ and LenDale on the ground.

Defensively, I think our D-line can contain their running game and we need to focus on covering the likes of Andre Johnson.

Titans go to 3-0 with a 17-10 win.

I am pumped for the battle of PA. Going to Philadelphia is going to be rough, although playing in Cleveland will be good practice for playing in front of mouth-breathing, unwashed miscreants.

(Yes, I get the irony there)

Now we find out what Aaron Rodgers is really made of. A suprisingly bad Vikings team + miserable Detroit doesn't prove anything. Beat Dallas and I will be impressed.

Well here's the thing...Collins doesn't need to play that well...Your playing the Matt Schaub I pass every time to Andre Johnson have no running game or offensive line Texans. I'm sure the Tennessee which is one of the more underrated defense's will be just fine.

This week in St. Louis on FOX we'll get either Arizona vs. Washington or the Bears. Does anyone know when those decisions are typically made and put on the site?

I have a feeling we'll be watching Kurt Warner.

EDIT: With a Rams game at 3:00, I guess we may not get an early FOX game at all.

ANOTHER EDIT: Channel guide says FOX will be showing "Beach Volleyball" before the 3:00 Rams game. Oh well. I didn't get ST. Can't really complain.

I have a feeling Adrian Peterson is going to destroy us. We were only able to somewhat contain LT and Forte, and Peterson is just a whole different animal (physically speaking).

Smith's back, though. Hopefully that means an offense that scores touchdowns before the 4th quarter.

One Vikings have been good on D. Two they dominanted the Colts game just couldn't punch it in. That's obviously part of the game but its not going to happen very often in a game like that and when your RB has 150+ yards. They aren't bad they just aren't the great team all the experts got high on.

That Houston team can be deceptively good though. We haven't seen enough of them to know how good they are this year, but they're almost certainly better than last year.

Kerry just needs to manage the game - CJ and LenDale can do the rest. I'm hoping Cortland Finnegan can handle Andre Johnson as well as he's handled Ocho Cinco (still weird saying that) and whoever the top Jag wide receiver is.

Yeah thats all I was saying Collins just needs to manage the game well and let the running game take over.

More like the defense. That defense is why they can win with a bad offense.

So it looks like I'll be getting the Raiders-Bills early, and the 49ers-Lions and Steelers-Eagles games late.

Definitely not going to be watching that Niners game.

I can't wait for Sunday night.

Dallas really has had a tough start to their schedule, yet they're 2-0. If we can beat them, I think that really solidifies as a contender in the NFC.

49ers should go to 2-1. We play well at home and its Detroit. It's going to get old hearing the Martz's old team, O'Sullvan castoff crap all week.

in Indiana?

it'll still be better than sports radio here next week after O'Sullivan throws 3 TDs and the realization sinks in that the Lions cut their only decent young-ish QB and are left with Orlovsky and Stanton as the defacto "QBs of the future".

yes in indiana ... any time the game is mentioned that is what they will talk about, never anything about the actual matchup.

Interesting week.

-A couple no-brainers. Giants over Cincy and NE over Miami, are both likely to be 3-0, not surprisingly. Dallas or Green Bay will be 3-0. Not surprising if you didn't expect much drop-off from Favre to Rodgers. But how big of a week is this for Arizona? Win this week, and they are as close to punching a playoff ticket as a team can be in week 3. Would make them 3-0, with one of St. Louis or Seattle being 0-3, and the other not being much of a threat. SF could be 2-1 with a win, but would be essentially 2 games back having lost to AZ already.

Trendy Super Bowl pick Jacksonville is an underdog and can go to 0-3. SD and Minnesota, also trendy picks will be favored, but a loss puts them way behind the 8-ball.

And how bad would it be if Philly, who has looked like one of the top 3-4 teams in the league so far, to lose against another tough team and be last in their division and out of 1st by 2 full games.

It's not a bad offense - it's just not very explosive. It gets the job done (scoring 14-17 a game) while the defense actually wins games.

Semantics I know, but still, it's not bad. :D

Ed Hochuli, who made the bad call on the fumble in the Denver/SD game, has been graded down because of that game.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3589407

That's BS. Yeah, he blew that call terribly. But is it his fault that the NFL that incomplete passes aren't reviewable? He's one of the better refs in the league. He got one wrong. It happens.

And I think I'm the last remaining Rams fan. I guess I know how the Lorax felt... (Good God, the Rams are terrible.)
